My man, Corey is NOT your friend. The way he privately describes you and your history at the company was shockingly flippant. The way he talks about you is the way you describe Charles, but Corey does it behind your back. Not trying to stir anything up but dear God that man is a fake friend to you.

At the beginning of every show he said, "I'm here with my good friends......" Kind of weird to hear from an employer. He obviously employed people to have friends and was so narcissistic/insecure any slight was taken as a mortal offense and obviously mostly felt the fear of abandonment. He used money/ employment to control people.

So sorry to hear what you went through and what others have. I watched the Dis a lot from 2016 through 2019, but really stopped watching and listening when covid started. I bought a house, got married, changed careers so this stuff went on the back burner for me. Today something on youtube popped up about the DIS and I was like liet me check out what they have had going on when I stumbled across all this. Just hope you are doing better, getting the help you need, and are excited about your future. Hang in there

I saw/heard Pete’s narcissism from the get go. When he would talk about his money and material things the way that he did, it set off bells and whistles for me.

I can’t believe Pete didn’t go to Hawaii in 2017 with you over one comment that you made that wasn’t even intended to offend him. So sad it was a waste of money and it was awful of him to just cut the credit card off that he had given you to use when he told you to still go to Hawaii as planned.

I remember Pete saying once in a livestream that he grew up poor and that he had always wanted to go to Disney as a kid. I think him having money now is a big part of him acting the way he does. I think the root of everything is that he wants to impress/brag to people as well as to gain, maintain, and exert power over others. Money allows him to do these things and he wants everyone to know that he has money. My guess is he never felt like he had any sort or control or options as a kid due to the money situation and now he’s going overboard on having options and control since he has the money to do so.

I've had some major health concerns this summer and not actively watching any Disney material lately. I just found out about what happened today. Sean, if my wife and I do decide to retire in Orlando, we will definitely reach out to you and your husband! I think that anything DIS Unplugged related will be a tough sell for the viewers to support. Those who love Pete will never follow the new show and I can't comprehend the people who will continue to support Pete. For those who like a show sans Pete, even if Pete isn't involved in the day-to-day operations, they probably didn't have enough cash on hand to do a 100% purchase of Pete's share. And the noncompete clause would keep them from starting a new company. Supporting the new DIS likely means helping them pay off their contract with Pete, which I can't and won't do because of everything Pete has done. They should just burn the DIS name into the ground and never look back! But very happy for you Sean! Keep up the amazing work!

I discovered the DIS in 2016, and it quickly became my go-to channel for any tips and tricks Disney-related, especially when it came to news, dining reviews, new shows and attractions, etc. I stopped being a regular viewer earlier this year because the podcast became very discombobulated and contentious, especially since they would delve into topics that weren’t necessarily appropriate for a Disney-centric show. After hearing of the allegations against Pete Werner when they came out over the Summer, and hearing the things he did, I’ve come to the conclusion that I cannot in good faith continue supporting the show. The only way I really could go back to being a fan is if I hear from multiple sources that they have cleaned the format up and rediscovered their roots. They’ve gotten very far away from it.

This is so funny. I always felt like Pete reminded me alot of my Uncle and the more I listen the more dead on. He also was constantly sucking people in with gifts and money and then trying to control them. He ruined his som and step-son fostering a cycle of dependence and abuse.

I loved watching the Dis and just assumed you and Pete were dating or something. I’m so sorry for you and hope everything turns out as best as can be.

Used to watch you guys but was turned off by pete's treatment and uncalled for remarks. he would always put down the producer, young kid (sorry if that is not the title). you always provided excellent info. Not sure what happened, just seeing you for the first time in a long while.

The company critically damaged and the Dis element will affect the Unlimited side, lowering its value. The third silent partner is seeing their investment shrink. The offer to Pete at this point? What is charged to the Amex subtracting items able to be quicky liquidated. That reduced amount Unlimited pays Amex off and Pete is out! No $ millions. Pete is broke. The Dis is valueless at this point. Unlimited getting active in it, salvaging the talent, leasing a small office for studio work, and rebuilding the brand will cost $ at the same time cash flow will be lowered. Corey/Craig starting a new business might be a better option and partner up with Unlimited in some way. Heck, things like this bring down TV shows and BIG $$$ backs those shows! Unlimited/The Dis is not that big. Unlimited has to start worrying about other agencies poaching their top agents. Non-competes do not hold up especially when the company leadership screws up. Sales are going to be affected! Thats less commissions and it sounds like cash flow is tight already and the bank account is light. Thats my .02

The dis unplugged show is completely done. Pete was the only entertaining person on there (allegations not withstanding) Craig and most of the others are painfully boring.
