How to avoid DARK PRINTS using photoshop

Unlike screens, prints often are not back-illuminated. Therefore, it is expected to have ample light on the print to match what one sees in the calibrated monitor. To avoid that, you can make sure that the image is as bright as it can be so that when the environment is not bright, still the image looks as expected. Photoshop levels can help with this issue. The Maze
Переглядів 426 років тому
This artwork was created in the context of a computer game designed with Unity. The goal is to illustrate languages as walls and depict a situation in which you want to get out because of the hardship of communicating through a second language. The player starts in the middle of a maze created with tall metal fences. The low and mixed voices of people at the beginning of the maze is confusing a...
So is this not reliable to use for over head videos ?
good question. I think you would be okay. Depending on the weight of you camera you might need to add a counter weight.
You can use a tripod for overhead videos by adding weight to the opposite side of the arm holding your camera. Most tripods come with a carabiner or hook at the bottom of the center column, where you can hang a bag or other weight. This helps balance the tripod and keeps it stable, ensuring smooth, steady shots.
THANK YOU! Best video on this product!
You are very welcome!
Thank you for your briefing.
I am glad you liked it!
Maybe I missed it, but I don’t think you covered the monopod leg. But other than that, great job with the tutorial. Thank you for doing this.
Good call! Totally forgot about it!
Why do you need to leave 2 inch on each side?
Not necessarily you need the two inch or any kind of border really. but avoiding printing full bleed (if you do not need the full bleed) could reduce maintenance costs.
Couldn't have asked for a better tutorial. Thank you!
I am glad it helped!
Thank you so much ! I lost my instructions and this was so informative and easy to follow 💙
Glad it helped!
Hey Aghareb, My 5 years old P20000 printer is dumping ink on the side of the unused paper after finishing a print. ( right in the area where the Printhead comes to rest ).Had the Epson tech here several times, last thing did was he replaced the dampers which cost close to $735 but the issue was not resolved. Any help appreciated !
Interesting! I had that issue with the p10000. we kept using it and it cleared the head. my guess is that the head needs to be cleaned which I am sure if it would the problem, Epson guy would do that. it also could be the paper coming off from the surface at the edges (suction problem). could also be probably due to short gap between your head and the paper which can be set in the manual settings in the epson driver.
I'm trying to print with the HP DesignJet 800ps, which hasn't seen a new driver since 2012. Photoshop seems to not print correctly no matter what settings I have in PS or in the driver settings, ughhh. I'm doing everything you described in the video, so you've at least confirmed that I'm not going insane! Have you seen issues where certain printers just don't behave how the preview shows?
Have you run a test print from the driver to see if all colors and all nozzles are working properly? could you explain what the problem is with your prints? do you see lines in the print or the color are off (greenish for example). and are you using the HP inks or third-parties? I have this issue with 3rd parties ink
@@amir_aghareb I am using 3rd party inks simply because the genuine inks are so hard to find nowadays. My biggest problem is just printing in the correct format, as in it printing as the preview shows. It is extremally particular in what settings I use. I finally got that process figured out by using Photoshop CS6, but my colors still come out poor. I'm borderline on selling it and just getting a newer large-format printer. Trying another project a month following this process rendered the steps worthless and it once again isn't recognizing my custom paper sizes and refuses to print correctly. It's unfortunate, as this same exact printer that I used in one of my highschool classes 11 years ago. I was hoping to extend its life, but hardware and software handshakes just have other plans. :(
Sorry to hear that! we typically get them form B&H in the U.S. and third-party inks are just not the best for getting accurate colors unfortunately.
I'm prepping prints for an art fair this weekend and this is my first time printing on roll media/my new p900 without professor supervision. This was super helpful! Thank you :)
I am glad to hear that! Thanks for the comment, Melissa!
