Just picked some up for a GPC-X1E. I figured they might help the HPL top sound more alive. A little more sustain and volume. I ordered them the same time as the guitar, just got it. But honestly the guitar sounds really good stock. I want to get used to it for a bit, and may as well use up the strings. I'll put them on at my next string change, but likely change the strings so will be hard to do a direct compare. I'll try to do some recordings before and after to see if I can hear a difference. I figure they certainly shouldn't hurt the sound :) Surprised the Turkish Emory are half the price of the other colors.

I don't have a pedalboard yet but this is what has me wondering. How do you manage to tap those rear pedals? For example, that little black pedal next to your volume pedal. The switch is lower than the knobs on the white one in front row... Hard to tiptoe that.

“Just make a good patch and your guitar will sound great”. Hahaha yeah Daniel, that’s what I don’t know how to do! Also, if your playing is in a rut I’d recommend Pickup Music. When I was in a similar state I tried in person lessons and online courses, but nothing was anywhere near as good as Pickup. They have different learning pathways and tell you specifically what to practice each day. It really helped me. It’s not expensive you could give it a try.
