Sounds like another way to make things cheaper that won`t last the test of time. You probably can`t rebuild an engine block with plasma liners. You would have to bore and sleeve if there`s enough room between cylinders. Just more high tech crap that will wear out and need to be replaced not rebuilt.

This is just a bunch of videos of a plasma spray stitch together. There's nobody saying anything about plasma spraying.
