Unfortunately gangs and violence happens in a lot of cities these days.. I use to live in Gary Ind when I was young.. and I've also lived around New Orleans another city plagued by violence.. but both states still have so much to offer.. I guess overall.. especially in this day and age you should always keep your eyes open and not be in places that you shouldn't.. "tread carefully".. after all these days you could be shot and killed at your local grocery store.. or Walmart.. you just never know.. even driving on the freeway you could be targeted.. It is truly sad.. but I still love to travel.. I just try to be careful where I go and what I do.. Thank you for the comments and please subscribe if you haven't already

One other comment.. I use to be in the military and unfortunately I have seen a lot.. in some foreign cities I've lived warnings have gone out to stay off public transit because of terrorist warnings.. but truthfully terrorists can strike anywhere at anytime.. You just have to stay alert at all times foreign or domestic..
