Bound By Soil - A requiem for the forgotten ( excerpts)
Drawing inspiration from ONV Kurup's Malayalam poetry "Bhoomikaorru Charmageetham" (a requiem to earth), the production poignantly echoes the Earth's sorrow as it grapples with the loss of its progeny and the desecration of its resources. From ancient tales of forest sacrifice for civilization's advancement to modern-day exploitation of natural resources at the cost of ecological balance, the narrative weaves a compelling commentary on humanity's unchecked parasitic growth and its toll on both nature and marginalized communities.
Through the lament of Mother Earth for her lost child, the production invites reflection on our collective responsibility to preserve the sanctity of life and the planet we call home.

Hello, ma'am! I gave you some suggestions for composing and using Tandava Shabdas for dance productions. I love to watch dance productions like the above '6 Feet- Land and Us'. So I give suggestions to dancers and dance teachers who have made these kinds of productions. I also love watching 'powerful' performances because of the powerful music and Jathis that have been used. I like to share my suggestions again including the ones I forgot to mention in my previous comment. These are my suggestions, ma'am... 1. Compose Tandava Shabdas and use them for dance productions, especially on Shiva-based dance productions. I believe that Tandaav Shabdas are perfect for powerful productions which will captivate the audience. Ghatam Karthick sir, who has composed Tandava Shabdas for a dance drama called Sivamayam, told me that Tandava Shabdas can be referred to in Natya Shastra and in some books. Unfortunately, he didn't tell me the name of a book about Tandava Shabdas. I hope you can find out about Tandava Shabdas, ma'am. 2. When you make productions using Tandava Shabdas, make sure to use powerful mridangam, damru, veena, and bass music. The productions with Tandaav Shabdas should and will be captivating. 3. Use dazzling lights for the performance to look colourful. That's all, ma'am. I hope you like my suggestions.
Hello, ma'am! 😊 I'm a Bharatanatyam enthusiast from Sri Lanka. Wow! Beautiful performance, ma'am! Absolutely love it! ❤ The Jathis were beautifully recited with Kanjira. I love listening to Jathis especially Jathis sued in dance dramas with powerful music. Have you heard about Tandava Shabdas? Tandava Shabdas are Jathis that have strong syllables. They were specially composed for Shiva. D.A. Srinivas sir, a talented mridangam artist, and my all-time favourite mridangam artist, has composed Tandava Shabdas. He composed them for the seven Thandavams of the Saptha Thandavam album, Sivagamiyin Sabadham dance drama which was held in Melbourne, and Shiva Mridangam Shaivam song of the Shanmathan album. Ma'am, I have TWO requests... Please do productions like the above using Tandava Shabdas along with powerful mridangam and kanjira beats. And also, try to compose Tandava Shabdas if possible or with the help of someone and use them for dance productions. And also use dazzling lights as well. 😊 I hope you like my suggestions.
