HOLY HELL, YES, I LOVE THIS!! This is one of the most fluid and expressive animatics for Ruthlessness I've seen! x3E I really like Poseidon's design, the really long hair and shark teeth and fin ears. The way he sometimes grabs the whole boat and yanks it around, how smug he is just lounging around sometimes. I ADORE how you draw a frame for each syllable of "Ruth-less-ness" cause I ALWAYS pictured him *kinda* dancing in a sense? Maybe not fully, but he's like, excited to be doing this, so of course he would move a lot! But I also noticed parts where it made sense for him to be fairly still and I like that you weren't afraid to let him chill sometimes haha. Gahh I need to watch this again, I know there are details I particularly loved that are slipping my mind, but yeah, wonderful job! I would love to see it finished if you're so inclined! x3 OH! aLso as a complete newbie to animating, I actually really appreciate seeing the rougher part at the end too because I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist and then my characters' movements are choppy because I finished the detail work before getting the full movement done and making sure it flows! 😭 So thanks for that too, I might try to make sommmmething with that technique, getting the movement and vibes down first and such.

I really appeciate Poseidan's shark teeth. He's not just mad, he's absolutely fuming this mortal had the gall to not just blind his son, but brag to him. Shark teeth, 100% god of the sea...and earthquakes...and horses.

Having Poseidon shape shift and turn into water makes so much sense! And it makes for awesome visuals. Definitely do more!!

I reqlly love this animatic. Even though its not finished It is my favourite one. I love how poseidon physically interacts with ody, how he changes his form, what is also showing his power, how he is huge from the beginning and damn how he layed back and said "oh noo" I still really really hope it will be finished. Even though i would prefer, if ody wouldnt open the bag that cocky in the end, after over 500 of his men died...more like...panicly realising he still has this back with the glance of hope that this could be the way out. But honestly, i love this one

I love your Poseidon here! He really comes acroas as being on a whole different power level with how faux casual some of his body language is. Honestly, you are amazing at body language in general and I cant wait to see the finalized version of this

I honestly wish I can listen to the songs that include stuff like that and the other songs that tell what happens in between the sagas or the main songs, you know what I mean? (but I don’t know where to find that and I’m not really into tiktok lol) Anyway this amazing! Like aaahhh!

Loved the choice to also use the horse shapes, maybe I missed it (I tend to listen to these kinds more than watch the full thing) but didn't think I'd seen many people do that if any. So was pretty neat to see.

Though not a father myself I can honestly relate to the sheer rage Poseidon felt at finding his son had been rendered blind by someone, only for that SAME someone to shout out to remember him and basically giving out his home address and name...The sheer hubris and stupidity of Odysseus to give his name after defeating his opponent....and if seeing his son wasn't enough hearing Odysseus killed a innocent baby was the nail in the coffin... because child killers are unforgivable.And then to throw his own line back at Odysseus, 'I am your darkest moment.' Especially after killing his men, his 'flock,' as repayment of Odysseus stealing Polyphemus's eye,that's real justice.

I love seeing how different animators do the "the Cyclops you made blind is mine" part.
