Turning basil into seasoning and trying new ways to grow plants
How do u decide the wattage of grow light required for each plant and how do u decide which light to purchase? I just bought 40watt grow light 20w grow light x2 for 10 indoor plants 5 of them are mid size and 1 big size and 2 small size u think 40watts will be enough for them?
Correction 6 mid size 2 small and 1 big so total 9 plants
wohoo! looking forward to it!!!
Bro, I want to learn more about this can you share any guide if you have
I'm glad you are interested, we are currently building the set up and planning on doing a lot of video on the aquaponics. Id love to hear what kind of videos you want me to do so I can focus on that topic for a video. Id also recommend turning the bell notification on all so you do not miss those videos.
Do you produce your own seeds with some species
That's a good question, we have produced our own seed for a few plants like cucumbers and marigolds, but we are hoping to add a lot more plants to that list in 2025.
Also make face came video when you speak then visit installation
You should try short content bro I like this one but for grow your audience
I agree, we post on average about 5 shorts every month, but in 2025 we are hoping to start posting short every other day or everyday.
Nice setup, I'm planning to do a mini setup in my room
Good luck!
Toss the soap plant out
What a huge and ambitious grow room! Wow!

You have massive potential when your older.... Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much!
When I clicked on "grow room" I had something else in mind, but this is cool too. I love aquaponics systems. I had tilapia in a tank in Costa Rica and I grew salad stuff, strawberries and other stuff. Then in NC I had the same goldfish for 5 years and I grew more salad and strawberries but I also did a dual root zone setup with tomatoes and peppers. I also took water from my systems to use with my indoor garden. I've never tried hydroponics with just water, but I have been using Fox Farms liquid nutrients in Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil for my indoor medicinal cannabis plants. The liquid stuff makes it easy to fix deficiencies if I have any. I'd ratger just grow in organic living soil. Have you tried growing pineberries? They're like strawberries but white/pink. They grow with strawberries. You might want to play with some.
yea I think a lot of people think it's growing something to smoke. haha. but it's all legal. and fun. thanks for your message!
Is he even 18?
Kids can grow oregano and cilantro 😂
You are legally allowed to grow cilantro from the age of 16 if your parents agree to it, for strawberries I couldn't find any laws but as a German I'd say always treat everything as illegal until proven legal, just to be safe.
@DieselCheese yeah Germany was a lot of fun but there are definitely too many rules. I had never seen people wait for the light to cross the street where I grew up in Florida. We just crossed when no cars were coming. Not the Germans, they wait all orderly. I spent a lot of time in Central America too. That's the exact opposite, almost anarchy. That's where I fit in better but I want to go back to Germany someday. Now cannabis is legal so it could be more fun. I got plenty in Hamburg back in 2001-02 but it should be even better now.
that's not the kind of grow i was expecting heheh, but congrats on the work anyway
great video but just saying grow room made me think it was za lmao
i am subbed, but not getting any new video notifications, love the content, it is great to see more of us young men into gardening
Thank you for watching my videos! If you're not getting notifications for the future videos, you might need to click on the "Bell Icon" next to the word subscribe and see which setting that Bell is on. That's what sets up the notifications, maybe it's set to "none"? You'll want to set it to "all" please. THANK YOU!
Came here for the weed
What a cool set up
great video i realllly expected weed garden but veggies qwill be a bigger audiance if you stay away from weed 100% never talk about it if the channel is a real business whiich is how it appears
Crazy how kids these days will set up entire elaborate grow rooms, spend thousands of dollars, grow a youtube channel, all just to hide a few weed plants. 💀
What lol
Did you take a sec to consider that he may just like to grow plants? He could live in a climate with unfavorable outdoor growing conditions… not saying it’s impossible but I mean people like to garden
😂
@@liljesusmayne8137 Growing a propper cannabis plant is like growing a bonsai tree but in 3-6months
@@PigsAintGotManners I grow weed and do not understand your comparison at all… we’re growing to harvest not to make a tiny tree that lasts for years and years
❤
Dang, blueberries? I hear they like acidic stuff. Are you changing things up between everything?
so cool! great set up and hope the aquaponics set up does you wonders
Your bottle labels look awesome!
Thanks so much! I’m glad you like them.
Wheres the weed lame ass
Tomatoes would be insane in that hydroponic system! I'd plant only a few, almost seems like a waste having so many spots, still would be awesome.
I agree, I’m thinking I’m only going to do 8 plants so I can make some cool progress and update videos.
Loved the tour. Definitely want to see your test on carrots and onions. Epic! Nice set up man.
Thank you! It will be fun to see if the plants will work.
if you regulate the room temp it should more or less go hand in hand with the temps the water needs lamps do provide alot of heat, the chance of creating big temp changes if you dont run 24 hours and if you only heat the water with changing temps the hymidity also changes and are harder to control
Thank you for the advice, I will put that into consideration.
Wow
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Stoberry
Wow
Where are all the cool plants
I’m going to have to make some spaghetti sauce with fresh basil!! Yum!
Yes. Thank you
It's a cool setup ngl
Thank you
@lukegoforth7151 no problem
Great job ❤❤
Thank you
How much money have you put into this?
does the plants w/ black roots still grow after transplanted on the soil?
Yes, but very slowly, usually when roots start to turn darker or black it’s not a good sign.
@@lukegoforth7151 If you judged that the plant can still survive after having black roots and transplanted it what do you usually use to help the plant become healthier?
It really depends on how much damage the roots have had, but if the plant can still be saved usually I will try to move it back to the soil and give it all the necessary things like water and light and hope for the best. But for the strawberry plant in the hydroponic system we are just seeing if the plant will recover in the water.

61% is a good RH. 40's are too low for seedlings. Lavender and Rosemary grow very slow and the Rosemary prefers dry soil (water then let almost go hydrophobic) with very humid air (spray regularly). A bit of mold is no problem. Always include BT in your water and Fungus Gnats will not be a problem.

Yes use a lid. The fish will jump out and helps with water evaporation
