This is one of the FEW lessons that are as SiMPLE as A, B, C cause being a dummy at music 🎵🎶🎶🎶 I will master this concept over 🌃🌉 ! She is a very good teacher! Better than college! When LETTERS 🔤🔠 are NAMED when played and her charts pop up above as clear as daylight this makes it ALL more simple to understand and follow! Hope she does more lessons on creative SONG writing !! Enjoyed!

Hope she continues more lessons on song writing and how to count to music 🎶🎶. . As long as she NAMES EACH keynote or chords by LETTERS 🔤🍎🔠🔠 this will help while playing piano other wise beginners will be lost... There are tutorials when letters 🔤🔠 Light 🕯️ up when chords or keynotes played , this is very helpful! Just don't rush the lessons!! 🔋🙏🙏🔋

I've been playing for a year so this was a basic review. But you have other videos that are very helpful and I just wanted to see how you approach the piano for beginners. Nice job.

I watched this again since I realize that playing a bass line is a skill I need to master to be musical. I've started playing my scales and arpeggios. One neat trick I have learned is to us the fifth as a pedal note on chord changes which creates tension, and resolving it finally onto the root. So satisfying. If that's what the song asks for, n'est-ce pas? I really like your videos, but you piano sounds muddy. Do you record an external speaker onto the computer built-in mike? Do you have the possibility to run it with a MIDI connection into your computer? What sound program are you using? It would make a big difference having a clearer piano sound.

I really have to practice singing to get a melody in my head. I was told to move my lips and make no sound in choir class. And when I tried to take a Beginners Singing class at University, the Professor asked me if it was too late to get my tuition back. It was, and she apologized since I had told her I was a beginner and never had sung in my life. But I was too heartbroken to really try. So now I'll use these and an app and try. Merci.

I know this, but haven't mastered it so I like watching different videos on the topic. I liked your method and have subbed. Your voice is clearer than your piano chords. You might want to check your mixing levels.

I'm a piano Noobie and really don't have any melodies in my head. Writing songs has never occured to me, but with the climate crisis happening now as well as the frightening number of people that have been manipulated into thinking it's a scam might be a good subject. Merci for the idea.

Great lesson, thanks! One thing I'd like to mention is that you're clipping the audio signal with the piano during most of the video, which can make it tough to hear the actual harmonic content:(. Might just want to turn down the piano or the input gain on your audio interface to fix it. Thanks again!
