You seem to end up doing all the difficult extensions especially the ground works . What’s the plans for that weird looking catch basically thing in the corner.

Feck me that’s hard work lads , mini digger needed . Who would choose to do that ? Do you just get the jobs no one else wants to do ?

Great job Isaac mate and agree nothing more satisfying than making progress with a good day's of hard graft. On the flip side, I'd be a little worried being the house owner that I am using that old lead water pipe for water. Maybe that pipe is coming in from the main source as lead and then going into the house and you can't access it to upgrade into copper pipe, but I'd lay a new copper pipe in such a way that it can be dug out and accessed from inside the house and also from the edge of the extention in case they have need to change that lead pipe out sometime inn the future.

No ear or eye protection when chipping out that concrete isnt a good idea. Dont want to come over as some old whinger but tinnitus isnt much fun believe me.

Do you ever use mechanical fixings for wall plate. Ive always used a couple of frame fixings into the block just to keep it in place.

another good video Izzy, one tip I can give you is, never build past the top of the cavity wool with the second skin, it is easier to get the insulation in and stops getting compo snots on top of each insulation course
