Hey mate! Some of your picks for the FA cup were SPOT ON! The Spurs game, the Newcastle game, the Arsenal v Utd game (I mean I know we won, which I’m sure you’re pleased about too, but you got the score bag on) I didn’t see Brentford as being the upset!

​​@@footiesocialclub yea just checked back there, done not too bad and I expected Brentford to win comfortably but they rested Wissa and Mbuemo and paid the price. Arsenal had plenty of chances but Bayandir played well and won us the game. Very lucky to get through but we got there 😄

My thinking is, that United tend to struggle immediately after we’ve played well. So I don’t think we’ll win. Plus Arsenals attack was fine.. it was the shape of the ball that was wrong 😜

I’ve never predicted every score line correctly, but I did have one week where I got 9 out of 10 outcomes (Win, Lose, Draw) correct. If I were able to correctly predict all the scores, I would do it once and instantly become rich 😂

Yeah I appreciate that mate, 100%! However, just because they had only conceded 1 in those 5 games doesn’t mean things won’t change against Spurs. Look at Everton for example. They had only conceded 1 goal across the 4 league games before playing Forest and then lost 2-0. Or In the 8 games leading to the 4-0 defeat against Man Utd, they only conceded 4 goals in total and had three clean sheets in those games. I guess what I’m saying is, just because a team hasn’t done something in the run up to a game doesn’t 100% guarantee it won’t happen in their next fixture. It all depends on who they are playing. Obviously, this game could end up being 3-0 to Newcastle and they don’t concede. Who knows I guess we’ll just have to wait for Saturday 😉

Yep, Everton and Newcastle are chalk and cheese. But that wasn’t the point I was trying to make. It could be based on any other teams form. Eg. Brentford went 8 games unbeaten at home. Then lost two on the trot. Would it have been right to predict that they would have beaten Forest because they had won the previous 8 at home?

You said Brighton would “definitely” draw. You said Everton would “definitely” draw. 1 of those things happened. Maybe stop using the word definitely 🤷‍♂️ No one can know for sure what’s going to happen. If I had predicted before Palace played Arsenal that Arsenal would have put 5 past them, you would have called me crazy, because no one had done it this season. I predicted 3-1 for that game, ended 5-1. I was wrong on the exact score but I felt that the way Arsenal play, would have allowed them to put a few past Palace. Just because something has only happened once in the first half of the season, doesn’t mean it can’t happen again right? Plenty of teams have put 2 past Palace at home this season, conceding one more in a game isn’t beyond the realms of imagination. Look, I could be wrong on my prediction and that’s fine. Happens a lot. That’s football. If anything was definite, then we’d all be Billionaires 😉

In all fairness, Forest this season are a completely different beast. The draw this season was because of that absolute screamer from Bellegarde I think. I watched the game and I have to say Forest were very unlucky to get an equaliser. This time around I think the drawing streak will end here in a Forest win. They are brilliant away.
