First person to comment in 6 months. Time really flies. I didn't grow up watching the simpsons but the music still makes the animation have more character than ever anticipated and I think that's kind of what art is all about.
Simpsons always scared the shit out of me when I was a kid. I played that SNES game where you are a pig escaping the slaughterhouse and other apocalyptic scenarios... that game where Bart flees from home as a baby, with inanimate objects assuming life... always fucked my kid brain :/
I love how WIllie walks into a room full of people perfectly capable of helping him, and they just sit there doing nothing. I have absolutely no clue why, but this speaks to me on such a fucking deep level lmao. So often it feels I see people in DESPARATE need of aid, but do nothing. For depression, I have no real method of helping them besides recommending a therapist, (yeah right, like someone broke would pay for that) or to offer my ears and maybe my thoughts to help them sort out the chaos in their mind. Even beyond mental issues though. We like to avoid danger that we can endanger us if we get to close to the situation. Willie just staring at everyone, not even bothering to ask for assistance looks like him just giving up on humanity. Deciding, "Fuck it. Why would I want to live with these kind of people? People who care for no one but themselves." Second later, seeing he vocalizes his rage, perhaps in an attempt to show them right. Deep
