Ugh. I totally feel you on the chronically ill life interference. I get so sick at such seemingly random times, and it’s scary. The last time it happened I was away and at a convention center (my teen does competitive dance) and I fainted in their coffee shop. It sucks so bad not knowing if I’ll be ok when I go out and do things with her. I’m at my worst in the heat, so I’m not sure I could ever handle an outdoor concert. Even just waiting in line outside before security to go to the Orlando arena is a struggle. And then the second you feel bad you get panicky the whole time just thinking about it. Uuugghh. But we did also just do an 8 hour road trip from FL to Atlanta to see Billie Eilish! I gave my ticket to her friend so I was just the driver, but the road trip was fun 😊

I was also at Nola night 2, literally was the most electric night of my life!!! Your thinking face during the piano surprise song was me af, but I got to hear Hits Different live so no complaints. Thanks for letting me relive it through you!

Thank you for this. I went to London Night 5 so it was almost 3 months ago and I have been trying to find something that showed the pure joy of the eras tour. This captured it so much more than grainy livestreams or the movie on disney+. 💖

Have you read India Holton's series Dangerous Damsels? I think you'd like it. It is so delightful, funny and cozy. It's set in Victorian England where high society women are witches and pirates, it's a lot of fun 😄

These are such good recs! I love Emily Henry and I adored Lovelight Farms. A book that resonated with me in regard to being Gilmore-esque was The Clause in Christmas by Rachel Bloome. This book does a great job of encapsulating that small town feel. It also gives me Luke and Lorelai vibes; the MMC literally builds furniture as a hobby!

I love the Bard's Rest Romance series by jessica martin. it takes place in a fictional small town that is Shakespeare obsessed (as it's called Bard's Rest) and the main characters are three sisters who grew up in this town and have now moved away. Each summer they come back for the town's festival and what do you know romance ensues! I loved both books so far (For the Love of the Bard and The Dane of My Existence) and I'm hoping there's a third to come. The town gives me major stars hollow vibes and there's a great cast of townies that are in both books.

I can't think of a book for the giveaway at this moment unfortunately but I did want to say that I turned 25 watching this video! Loved revisiting the books we've read in the club and the books I've been meaning to read since I fell off the club this summer ahh! <3

I picked up reading romance again because of your recommendations! I recommend the Lovelight Farms series frequently. Internalized misogyny was really out here dictating my reading list !!

I'd recommend This Time Tomorrow by Emma Straub -- Rory and Lane relationship, Rory has her own Lorelai & Chris but switched genders, NYC setting, 13 Going on 30 plot device, and magical realism. This was also the first book I read and just cried cried cried after I finished it so take that as a recommendation or warning. The more I think about it, the more I see similarities to Gilmore Girls.

Would love to hear a list of books that have the humour, wit, pop culture references, family and friend relationships, career/school stuff from Gilmore Girls too. Whenever I see a list of GG vibes books it's always romance books and there was so much more to the show.

I recommend Well Met series by Jenn Deluca. It has small town vibes but it also specifically reminds me of the ren faire aspect like Liz & TJ. I hope you enjoy it!

Okay this one is a little outside of what you normally read, but the Unselected Journals of Emma M Lion by Beth Bower are fantastic! Emma kind of reminds me of Rory because 1.) she is very bookish and loves to read and 2.) every man she meets falls at her feet and loves her! Also, the little part of London she lives in is so quirky and has her found family in it much like Stars Hollow!

Haley, you should read the Knockmount series by Lucy Score! The first one is called, “ The Things We Can’t Get Over” the couple in it is Grumpy meet Sunshine so Luke and Lorelai. It’s small town, found family etc. It’s interconnected standalone series but, I recommend to read all three books!! ❤

Watched this video while making potato soup and it was just *perfect*--thank you Haley! I'd like to recommend Love At First Book by Jenn Mckinlay, which takes place in a small Irish village and features a bookstore, a community (centered around said bookstore), a grumpy bookstore owner (Luke vibes), and a protagonist on an early-30s journey of self-discovery who thinks she's a Rory but is actually more of a Lorelai :)

Love this list! I would add the Rom-Com Agenda by Jayne Denker because its set in a small town, deals with parental relationships and has gilmore girls references in it made by the characters. They also watch classic rom-coms to teach a woodsy guy how to be a leading man which feels very Luke and Lorelai

I had my library holds open this whole video to request so many of these! The book I would recommend is One Last Stop by Casey Mcquiston. This is a queer romance, which I would love to know if you have read any of that genre, and has such comfy cozy vibes. I imagine it is if Rory had left her mom and moved to New York after college to figure things out on her own, but then meets the hottest person she's ever seen on the subway one morning. There is quite a bit of magical realism and tons of found family/community vibes that make this book so lovely!

To Tara and the migraines - I highly recommend Nurtec. If your insurance won’t cover it, they offer a lot of discounts and coupons to get several packs for free. I get chronic migraines and Nurtec has literally saved me. They dissolve under your tongue and work faster than most other stuff I’ve tried, and they don’t hurt my stomach or make me super sleepy.
