ASMR Pour Over Coffee Making Sounds | Lofi Camera Mic (no talking)
just making my daily morning coffees, decided to record it and upload just to post something new.
i normally like doing the 2 pour method, like on the first day of this video, but decided on doing the rest using the 5 pour method, since i feel like visually and audio-wise, it was more satisfying. generally, the 2 pour method gives me more balanced tasting cups, compared to the 5 pour method, where i tend to get more prominent notes to come out. preference of course, i tend to prefer the more balanced taste. both methods though, i like to use 140f (60c) for the bloom, always around 50-60g of water for 1 minute. ever since i started doing it with lower temp water for the bloom, i just cant go back to the hotter water method, this just always tastes better to me, so i prefer to do the extra step. while it blooms, i re-heat the rest of the water: for dark roasts, i tend to go between 185-190f, medium around 195-197f, and light roasts i stay around 198-204f.
in case youre curious on the tastes of the coffees i had:
red rooster nicaragua: strong fruit taste, very prominent, needs to be ground very fine, otherwise it gets sour, which is why the brew time was so long for that one. the dark roast flavor is very tame, compared to some harsher tasting ones, lightly acidic when ground fine, very sour and moderately acidic when grinding courser
the ucc grounds: very smooth, very "coffee" like in taste, love the smell of this one, such a clean taste. mixed it with some don francisco hazelnut grounds, since i didnt have enough ucc grounds left for a full cup, the combination worked perfectly. the don francisco coffee is pretty acidic, so the smooth and clean taste from the ucc grounds really kept it in check. the result was a super smooth, lightly bitter, sweet tasting hazelnut flavor, basically no acidity.
death wish light roast: very prominent golden raisin/agave flavor profile, super accurate on the tasting notes for this. its got a sweet earthy-fruit flavor, smooth, very lightly acidic, tame bitterness, i really ended up liking this one. the body/texture is so smooth and is nice to drink, not oily compared to a lot of the dark roasts ive been having lately, thinner than a medium roast, but not lacking in taste, it's really just so smooth.
colombian medium roast: "strong" and bold coffee flavor, honestly pretty similar in taste to the death wish light roast, i mainly got an agave taste from it. pretty average otherwise in terms of depth, moderately bitter, very lightly acidic. the agave taste definitely lingers in the mouth.
(deleted friday portion)
don francisco hawaiian hazelnut: i actually recorded friday too, but tried using an earphone mic. long story short, the audio was completely messed up since i tried using a ubsc to 3.5mm converter, which did not play well together.
this coffee is very acidic, but has a very nice hazelnut flavor, sweet, mildy bitter. the acidity is cut through pretty easily though when creamer (especially milk) and sugar are added. this is a lower quality coffee compared to the other things i drink, still though, it's nice to have these types from time to time just for comparison. i think this one is pretty alright.
might do another one of these videos in the future, but with the various instant coffees i have, instead of these pour overs, although with instant, i can make it in like 10 seconds, so idk, could make it a short video or something, as a filler video.
coffee equipment used:
fellow stagg ekg (kettle)
timemore chestnut c2 (grinder)
timemore coffee spoon
timemore basic 2.0 coffee scale

Переглядів 146 місяців тому
short review, i liked basically everything to an extent, but only very few would i actually go out of my way to get if i saw it. long review: first snack, the rice filled (i think) chocolate chip cookie was really weird, super tough to tear/bite into, not much taste, the chew itself was kinda nice though. the rice crackers were something ive always wanted to try and was happy that it was as goo...

so this was originally supposed to be a 30 minute video with various boxes for lots of variance. i quickly realized i didnt have that many boxes on hand since i threw everything out by the time i made this video. i just picked whatever i had laying around. still though, think this turned out well enough. hope you enjoy the sounds, hope you have an enjoyable weekend :) #asmr #tapping #tappingsounds
ASMR phone tapping | no talking (tapping, clicking, button presses)

finally back with a new video. i decided to do a tapping video, since it's my personal favorite sound to listen to. i like having a tapping video just playing a background noise while gaming or doing whatever task i need to do while on my pc. making asmr is a lot harder than it seems, which is why i dont really post. sitting in silence is and trying not to make any extra noise is pretty tedious...

Переглядів 58Рік тому
after being a listener only for about 7 years, finally decided to start my own asmr channel. ill mostly be doing no talking, since that's what i usually prefer myself since i like having something to listen to while gaming or something. as for this video, the keyboard is an irok fe87, stock 2 layers of tape on the pcb. mic used was an at2020 and my phone mic (also used to record the video). the...

Cool video
Wow this was very good
glad you liked it
Nice vid
thanks, i appreciate it
Fr should make another video, like playing a game with the keyboard sounds in the background.
i do plan on doing a video like that, just not sure i want to use my usual quiet keyboard or the clackier one in this video. only reason i havent done it yet is i hate moving my keyboard around since i have it positioned a certain way that's perfectly comfortable for me
