Hi! I just followed the instructions on LandSandBoat and set up a server on my personal computer. It doesnt take a lot to run, and its a very active community github.com/LandSandBoat/server

Hey! - Not sure what you mean, landsandboat IS the server code, if you mean connecting to something like CatsEye just single player, then no. Each private server has their own customized version of landsandboat (or something else) running, so in theory if they made their code and customizations public, you could set it up on your computer but most of these private servers all have their own tweaks to make them unique so they probably want to keep it that way.

Unfortunately not yet, the weapon itself has been added to this version of the game, but nobody has coded fast blade II yet

Sort of - the code is here github.com/LandSandBoat its actually fairly easy to set up, and its not super intense on your machine since its a 20 year old game. The only thing that is iffy is basically what they did is take all the .dats from the original game, and more or less devs wrote their own code to make the game run, so there is a lot of end-game content that's not implemented just because nobody has written it yet. As for my server - Its just me and a friend at the moment, I'm not really opening it up to other people, he likes to go crazy and give himself the craziest OP custom gear and steamroll, and I like to play more vanilla where I can, so I've edited the server quite a bit and its not really in a place where I could make it "fair" for other people. Maybe one day!
