It's not that you can't it's that you shouldn't if you can't control them in public so others can also enjoy their meals. My kids knew not to climb on chairs, and they were also taught that if they threw something, they would be helping to pick it up. It's called being a parent.

You’re right, being a Mom can be so hard especially with littles because they require so much of our time, attention, and effort every day. Of course, it is so worth it and we absolutely love them to pieces! But, I think sometimes (myself included) we have Mom guilt over the fact that sometimes we may need a little break from being overstimulated/overwhelmed at times. It definitely helps if your Mom is close by and you have a good relationship with them. Or, if they come into town too. They can be such a blessing and momentarily relieve some of the weight that we carry on a daily basis for sure. 💛
