Our family of five plus Cole and Minnie welcomed a new addition to our family fall of 2020. Ember is a female liver and white English Springer Spaniel, Cole is a male black and white ESS and Minnie is a female Rex rabbit. We all live in Ontario, Canada. We hope to include videos on Dog care, grooming, training, and the day to day life with multiple pets.
All my dogs have Canadian Championships and are shown and groomed by me.

Guys whenever my dogs mate my female dogs always cries in pain and I don't know how to help. I try separate them but the male dog also starts crying. What should i do????
They do something called tying and you should not separate them.

You've not mentioned (at least as far as I can find) how old Cole is...I am wondering if his state of health is about average for a Springer of his age?
Cole will be 13 in September 😊 is probably living on borrowed time right now.

@@emberandcolesenglishspringers It sounds as if he still has a good quality of life--I would think that as long as he can retain at least some mobility, he won't start to suffer from so much muscle loss that the cascade of health problems that follows from that then takes over. Keeping him moving--to the extent that he comfortably can--would be the key...No doubt the Librela is going to help on that front! Such a sweet boy!
I hope your dog continues to do well however this drug destroyed my dog’s life. 24 hours after his first injection he lost control of his back legs and suffers from bowel incontinence and anxiety. Averse reaction reported to Zoetis, they didn’t even give me a case number and stated they will not follow up with me, they don’t give a fig about my precious boy. He had NO previous health concerns, it’s totally Russian roulette.
So sorry that happened to you and your dog.

thank you so much for posting all of this we watched the Librela videos to see if we should put our senior pup on it and we’re strongly considering it
I think that’s a side effect of the shot, that they can lose control of their urinary fonction? My boy is also on Librela, he’s had 4 shots, he’s 10yrs old. I’m not seeing super improvement, the one big thing was that he does jump on the bed which he didn’t do before. I’m undecided if I’ll continue with it, he does have an appointment for a 5th shot, but I might re-examine after that one. Cole, Loggie LOVES Timbits too, it’s his fave and only gets it on occasion 😊
So sorry that it’s not working better for your dog. Cole seems his best around the two week mark. I also add glucosamine and omega oils to his food. Hope you find something that makes your dog feel better.
