@mickeyhavoc939 thanks for the view and comment. Congrids on buying the RVR, I'm sure you will love it. The RVR fits me for what I want out of a kayak. I fish but you can fish out of any kayak. I do primarily kayak camping and love the rapids. I have run this kayak threw class III rapids with full camping gear and with the skills it handles surprisingly great for a sit on top. Working at one of, if not the biggest kayak shops (OMTC) in the country, I have access to all the mid to high end kayaks. They encourage me to take out other kayaks, but I can't get myself to step away from the RVR if that says anything. On the fishing end, with this kayak I can get into spots that most fisherman don't even think about trying. I will jump from eddy to eddy in class II's and pull them smallies out of spots no one will fish. Again, thanks for the view and comment and if you have any questions feel free to ask. BTW change out the 1/4 20 bolts at the hinge of the seat for longer bolts. If you don't one will fall out at some point. @mikewest712 Winter time is my favorite time to kayak camp. Almost always have the stretch of the river I'm on all to myself. You are correct about the springtime. I tend to have my kayak pulled further away from the water overnight lol.

@dylansunday5352 Yeah this is the dry season. Was it a day float and did you do any fishing?

@@UncleDavidOutdoors yeah it was a day float, actually two days and I know a 6 mile stretch in between eureka springs and blu eye that runs deep and has brown, rainbow trout, small mouth bass and an assortment of catfish breeds. Some depths reach 15-20 feet deep.

@dylansunday5352 Nice, I'll have float it sometime. I went out to Crooked Creek this morning to catch some smallmouth. I'll have a short out tomorrow morning at 7:00 am on one of them I caught.

@@UncleDavidOutdoors Ohh!! I was gonna say it looks a lot like the buffalo river in Tennessee! It’s very beautiful where you are though! I’ll have to take a trip out there!

@JordanDorsey-bc1ug It is the only river in Arkansas that doesn't have a dam on it. Locals fought the powers that be to just leave us one river in its natural state. It became the first National River in the US so it will be protected. Buffalo National River has no commercial or privet land on it.

@gareyscarlett5147 Yes, it is an awesome spot. I have a couple of spots in this area of the river that I pull nice size smallies out every time. Plenty of eagles.
