Join environmental scientist Julie for Pollinators and Seed Bombs. Learn what pollinators are and what they do. Then, enjoy a reading of Make Way for Butterfly by Ross Burach, read by Ms. Ally (as the bee) and Julie (as the impatient butterfly.)
To make your own seed bombs you will need potting soil, local wildflower seeds (we used these: tinyurl.com/NortheastWildflowerSeeds) and air dry clay. Roll your air dry clay into a 4-5 inch wide thin circle. Sprinkle some potting soil and seeds in the middle, then fold the clay around the seeds. Roll the clay into a ball. Let the clay dry, the throw your seed bomb anywhere you want to grow some wildflowers!
