Yes and no. Putting them next to each other can help bring out the undertones so you know which whites are cooler or warmer when its subtle. Then you can quickly know which whites will play wirh the other colours well

stores get rid of their christmas decorating items as fast as possible, ie sales of 75% off paper. so remind yourself first week in January NOT Feb to get your wrapping paper, napkins etc on sale dear women.

Nightmare situation. I am been so fortunate with my contractors. I only use people that I have worked with before, or who come recommended by friends I trust. I meet with them, look over their portfolios and talk to other customers. Time consuming and difficult, but no sense going forward if you cannot trust the people you will rely on.

Hey ladies. I sure could have used you guys last year. I did an entire house reno - gutted the kitchen and both bathrooms, Redid EVERY freaking surface in my retirement, forever, taken out feet first home. It was the 7th house I had renovated and the first that I did just for me. Every other place had been for resale, thus dealing with what I had and making prudent, financially responsible design decisions. I went 80K over budget on this one. You would have been able to help me get what I wanted without spending every nickel I had. Be that as it may, I love my house. Everywhere my eye lights, I see beauty and not a project. It sure would have been nice to stay within budget tho. All the best.

I wish I would have found this video prior to our home renovation! We are mid reno and I think these tips would have helped us navigate things with more confidence and ease. I fought hard against a lot of men (contractor and team, husband, etc.) to get quality kitchen cabinets. I’m confident that the fight was worth it. Our designer just submitted our finally cabinetry plans to the cabinet maker and we should received them in about 6 weeks. We spend most of our time in the kitchen cooking together and entertaining, it was important to not only have a certain look, but also timeless quality that will withstand our lifetime in this home.
