I've been using this and it works really well. I was wondering in cases where I say a voice command and the satellite doesn't understand properly and replies with a question, is it possible to respond to it without using the wakeword again? For example, if I have multiple dyson entities in my home, it asks me which one to turn off but doesn't keep on listening for an answer to complete the command.

have a look at double-take and frigate which has face recognition .. this is what I`m using and it`s quite accurate for room presence detection ... the blueooth works however you need lots of sensors and you can`t control the direction of bluetooth meaning you can be above one room in another room and you`ll still be set in a wrong location ..

Should design the PCB so that it fits into a google home mini. There are so many of them at it would be great to reuse them for a cool project. I want it to reach out to my Ollama server and talk to an LLM running on my local AI machine. Then respond in nice natural voice. Regardless I will buy one of these.

Please don't confuse LocalAI (a platform/software to run LLMs) with an LLM (e.g. LLAMA, Mistral). By trying and choosing models, you can adjust speed of the model and also accuracy

The claims are dubious because the xmos chip doesn't rival the latest smart speakers as it uses some of the early technologies the 1st gen Alexa/Google devices used. Google with its latest devices uses some called targetted speech extraction and is the oppisite in design as you enroll your voice so its known and extraction of known and the models they use has been a huge step up to cancelling what is likely unknown noise. Without any targeting the technologies on show are what you would call a conference microphone which is not really the as modern smart speakers and also its not opensource as the xmos algs are behind a commercial paywall...
