This should be the role model for how to port a PC game to a console. Don't just slap the game on a different system. Rework the controls, give the UI a polish, even change the lighting code to work on the console. The result: absolute, uncontested peak Minecraft. This is why people go back to Beta 1.7.3: that was the version 360 Minecraft came out on. People just want this back.

I miss remember old games... 2011-2021

I first played Minecraft in May of 2012 on TU1. Really good times. I miss figuring out how the game worked, finding diamonds, showing off features I found to friends, building into caves, duping, etc… After all of these years I still have all my worlds from TU1-TU2 on my Xbox 360.

This. This, probably doesnt seem much for the kids nowadays, but this is peak minecraft, im telling you. I remember coming over to my friends house, we'd get a snack and sit down on his bed and start playing regular old minecraft xbox 360 edition, i wish i could do it again, but we barely talk now. Its been 12 years since May 2012 the release of Minecraft Edition. It was raining and many friends on Xbox Live were talking about the game months before the release. Many of them stayed up all night to experience the endless creativity. Some stayed up all night downloading. I even had a girlfriend over Xbox Live playing Minecraft and Black Ops 1. Friends became distant and forgetful. I miss 2010-2016. Xbox Live will never be the same. Those days were great especially C.O.D Waw N@Zi Zombies, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, Bad Company 2, and 1v100. The release of Skyrim will be in my heart next to the music of Minecraft. Even the NXE Dashboard of Xbox Live will be a forgotten memory. Love you Xbox Live gamers of 2010-2016👍
