no options for scholars and/or signing as an individual

As for me, being on the Autism Spectrum (Asperger's Syndrome), living with a roommate and on campus is near to impossible due to communication being impaired and sensory issues. Unfortunately, I feel the RAs are not trained in Autism awareness and understanding those on the Autism Spectrum and about 99% of the residents there do not understand those with Autism and as a result, lack empathy for behavior caused by the disability such as meltdowns. This is why students on the Autism Spectrum should be guaranteed an exemption from the First Year Live on Campus Requirement if they opt by their own choice for an exemption (however they should be given the option whether they want to live on campus or not). I feel like this is the only accommodation that the University can provide to help someone like me be successful. Everyone on the Spectrum is different as well, but I am writing this based on my own personal experience.

Unfortunately, it is a lot different now due to COVID 19. Social distancing and wearing masks are going to be the norm forever.

I will enter Binghamton this time. What are the necessary tools for living in a dormitory?
