With sunny clear weather Lothian Atlantean Fleet no. 659 was taken out of it winter slumber and thoroughly washed. Followed by some laps around the internal road network of the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum

Wilde Memorial is a Treasured ESME Club loco having been created by a member in the 1940s who was unfortunately lost in the second world war. Post war the Loco was completed and Named in his memory.

I would find any excuse to take a Lynx out instead of something else. Lovely old crates. Best ones we had were fitted with the Cummins engine.

Unfortunately I’ve never had the chance of driving a Lynx yet but have very fond memories of them when they were in service all those years ago. If I ever get the chance I’d love to drive one someday.
