There are so many better ones than Comodo that it is very heavy on the system and intrusive. It has Portmaster, Free Firewall, Simplewall, Fort Firewall, etc...
You are right sir, Binisoft Firewall Controller is also good option. it works with Windows firewall and make them more useful.
@@asfeaturedblog True, but that one belongs to Malwarebytes... it was once a reference in the market but nowadays it no longer inspires as much confidence, such as those mentioned in the video description, Avast, Avg, Zonealarm. But you're right, it's another option although I've never tried it...maybe one day I'll try it.
Linux can't be hacked I might think about using Linux Mint when Windows 10 reaches End of Life or running KDE Plasma.
Mostly people use Windows, that's why hackers attack Windows Computer. Recently almost all Linux, Supershell Malware Being Distributed to Linux SSH Servers. In case of Windows, if any vulnerability found, Microsoft responded fast. The news published last week, Thousands of Linux systems infected by stealthy malware since 2021.
thats the biggest lie in the world. all hackers and programmers are using it. its open source. now its also available as wsl on windows, some antiviruses classify some linux distros like or athenaOS as threats and malware, because you can really know what all source code in say nmap is doing, but its all there for you.

Try test Emsisoft Enterprise Security with roolback active in Panel and other antivírus for see who is good like this test.
I don't recommend ZA. Not because it's a bad AV provider, but whenever it quarantines a legitimate file that it believes is a virus, you're unable to actually restore the file. I've tried several years ago and this year (before switching to another AV provider), and sure the option to restore the file is there, but the actual restoring never occurs. You know when something spins and spins and nothing else ever happens? The same happens with ZA when attempting to restore a file.

I always love these types of tests. I love the fact that you discuss CPU usage, Services in the background, ram etc., as that's a huge factor when considering what AV to use, since not everyone has the "best" computer parts out there. The first advice I could give you would be to create a folder with files in them, and then add different types of files like PDFs, Word Docs and images; as such, you could verify if they get encrypted. In order words, show people by opening those files in the Documents folder. The second biggest advice I could give you would be for you to use several second opinion scanners afterwards (such as MBAM and Sophos Scan and Clean), in order to see how much malware can be removed. Because, if you're able to clean remnant files using those? Then, it may help in determining if having a second opinion scanner helps as well, and from my personal experience, it should. And if you're not already doing this, you could create a batch file in order to run one malware at a time which would also let you know which was was "allowed" to run or blocked from running (i.e. automation). To clarify what I mean, take a look a Leo's videos from The PC Security Channel. That's what he does, and it's pretty sweet. It definitely saves him a lot of time.

If your problem is not solved, let me know, i will provide you complete solution. please do this HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender which was set to 1. Now we have the changed the value to 0 and we can see the Microsoft Defender as the active antivirus.
