Russia doesnt care about their citizens. the other thing that will hurt Russia for a generation is the emigration of over 1.3 million people when the war first started and putin conscripted a large amount of people. that 1.3 million are the ones who could afford to emigrate, that also says that it was the higher educated. i know of 6 computer engineers who worked in moscow earning 120k a year in dollars. they are all living in the san francisco bay area working here in the states now. they left because one of their co workers was conscripted. He died in the Kerson oblast when the russians were forced to withdraw. He was trying to turn himself as a prisoner of war and was shot by his fellow soldiers.
