How can you solve the issue of your results coming out as high linearity concentration
First make sure you are following the right procedure and your parameters set right. Second you can recalibrate and run different samples If only one sample is still giving that problem the you need to do a dilution with NS and later multiply your results by the dilution factor.

Hello can you help me with how to set up mindray and labtech semi chemistry anlayser
What exactly to you mean or want to accomplish?
How to calibrate extended calibration status chemsitry ?

@easypassgh7506 i want to remove the extend status and calibrate a biochemistry, but it kept saying calibration invalid

For a semi automatic analyzer you run each chemistry one by one till you done with the profile
So how do you report it Is it something like 5 sperms in a million/ml?
Yes You report in million/ml
Where can I buy the test kit?

What if you do not have distilled water ? And also, must you always do the washing each day?
Clinical chemistry requires high level accuracy to achieve best results. It’s strongly recommended to use distilled water but if you decide to do otherwise, you do so at the risk of achieving reliable results.
Why you centrifugation of whole blood sample ?
It’s part of the pretreatment procedure for BS 240. Other higher versions of the machine do not require that
@easypassgh7506 Is centrifugation to 5 or 10 minute and what the rpm 2500. Or 1500 ?
@ 2000rpm for 5min

Am sorry for inquiring about a different topic but you asked which reagent am trying calibrate with bs 230, it the CRP and it has edited under it.
You will need to buy the calibrator and once you successfully calibrate it will automatically change. The calibrator for CRP is different from the multicalibrator. It’s called Specific protein calibrator. I guess your people used an edited value to avoid buying it. But if you have the budget for it, then you can go purchase it. If not then I will advise not to worry about it, especially if your results are okay.
Thanks bro, I appreciate
That must be why even the CRP reagent can't be selected for calibration right
@ Yeah.
For protein and albumin in cal set up there is no g/dl instead there is g/L in the literature .. N I can't change to g/dl... How to get it corrected?
You can leave it like that and use a conversion factor for the final results. Alternatively you can find the unit section of the chemistry and change it if that is allowed for the machine you are using. Most labs leave their final results in g/L.

When the test strip shows *TWO LINES*, it usually indicates a *POSITIVE* result, meaning the test has detected the presence of hepatitis antibodies, my question is that, does the thickness or lightness of the Test Line affect the interpretation of the Results????
No pls If you have doubts about the visibility of the line, it’s always safe to repeat the test.
I used your explanation to defend my industrial training and I had a good score despite not doing the test You are great and your work is making someone happy elsewhere
Waw! 😀 That good to know.
Please how is the reaction time determined during parameter settings
For a fully automatic chemistry analyzer, the reaction time is pre-programmed by the manufacturer for all chemistries. For a semiautomatic analyzer the reaction time is provided by the reagent manufacturer, usually written on the reagent data sheet. If it is not provided, you can use the general reaction time for that chemistry.
@easypassgh7506 thank you very much. Can I have your contact number?
This was really helpful thank you But I have a question what does the linearity mean in the system parameters
The lowest to highest range of values the machine can measure for a particular analyte.
Please What side of the paper should be used ,is it the shinny side or the other? and secondly, must one use a fresh buffer?
Use the shinny side. You can reuse the old buffer.
@easypassgh7506 ok But what about filling the bufferin the well ,must it be full to brim?
@ No Just enough for the tip of the paper to touch. Maybe 1mm above the tip of the paper

This is when the calibration factor was manually inputted instead of using a calibrator to calibrate.

Hello Boss ...pls I find it difficult in identifying the chromatin dots from platelets which doing malaria microscopy ...pls help me
After the Giemsa staining procedure most of the platelets will be washed away so no need to pay too much attention to that. To identify the chromatin dot look for dark red spot with a ring of blue cytoplasm around it. Most of your preparations will be negative so don’t stress yourself if you not seeing them otherwise you will give a lot of false positive results.
After treatment and vaccinated successful, the Hbsag still showing Positive, pls what is means?

Thank you Please I did my genotype in 2 different labs years ago, it was AA. Recently I needed to do something and I went to a different lab, it came out AS I went back to complain and they said that’s the result. Please what’s the reason…
The genotype of a person doesn’t change so it’s likely one of the two groups of lab results is wrong. You can repeat it at ISO accredited lab or do a sickling test to confirm which is of the two correct .

If only HbseAg is positive All negative what do we call the result?
Exposure to HBV
It means at some point in your life, you've been exposed to the virus but your immune was able to fight it,so the virus is inactive
I have HBsag positive Hbs ab positive Hb core igm negative Hbeab negative What's is the interpretation I thinked immuned from infection by exposed and recovery
Yeah
Why ? When the test line show two line is negative But normally two line mean positive I want to know please
HBsAg, HbsAb and HbeAg uses dual-antigen sandwich method While the HbeAb and HbcAb uses the neutralization competitive inhibition method
The reagent contain labeled antibody, and the test strip cotated with specific antigen. If the sample does not contain the antibodies, the lable antibody in reagent will bind to the coated antigen in the test strip ( first line) and the second line is control line.this is indicate negative result.but if it positive we get only one line why? Beacuse the antibodies in the sample (if present) are not labeled, so when they bind to the antigen on the test strip, they do not create any visible signal or line. Their binding only blocks the antigen sites from being available to the labeled antibodies.

I HAVE QUESTIONS DOC.. WHAT IS THE CURE FOR HBSAG😢😢😢
There is currently no cure for Hepatitis B, but the infection can be managed effectively with treatment. The goal of treatment is to reduce the viral load in the body, prevent liver damage, and minimize the risk of liver cancer and cirrhosis. Here are the main treatment approaches: 1. Antiviral Medications: Tenofovir and Entecavir are commonly prescribed antiviral drugs. They help reduce the virus's replication in the liver and lower the risk of complications. - These medications are usually taken long-term and can help keep the virus under control, but they don't completely eradicate it. 2. Interferon Therapy: - Pegylated Interferon-alpha is sometimes used, especially in younger people or those who want a finite course of treatment. It stimulates the immune system to fight the virus. - This therapy is usually given by injection over a period of 6 to 12 months and has more side effects compared to antiviral pills. 3. Liver Transplant: - In cases where severe liver damage occurs, such as liver failure or liver cancer, a liver transplant may be the only option. 4. Lifestyle and Supportive Care: - Patients are advised to avoid alcohol and hepatotoxic medications (that can harm the liver). - Regular monitoring of liver function and screening for liver cancer is important. 5. Prevention (Vaccination): - While there is no cure, vaccination against Hepatitis B is highly effective at preventing the infection. It is part of routine vaccination schedules in many countries. With proper treatment and care, people with chronic Hepatitis B can live long, healthy lives, even though the infection can't be completely cured at this time.

Hello
Hi How can i be of help
Can reactive hbsag turns to non reactive if i strengthen my immune system?
For the immune system to clear the hepatitis B virus (HBV) and change the status to non-reactive, the body must produce antibodies that successfully eliminate the virus. In some cases, especially in adults, the immune system can clear the virus on its own, leading to recovery and a non-reactive HBsAg result. However, in many people, particularly those with chronic HBV infection, the virus persists. Strengthening your immune system alone is not guaranteed to clear an HBV infection.
