Most of the time it will be stuck inside the drill bit. Otherwise you probably will need to use regular concrete drill bit and pull it out.

Hi, our gate kits come with the side posts as well. You will need to attach them to something so if there is no wall or house on the side of the existing gate you will need to leave the posts. Other option is to but 1-1/4"x1-1/4" steel tube (we sell it as well) and put in in the ground with concrete. Our side posts built with an inner tube to fit this steel. The thickness is 12 gauge (2mm). We manufacture everything in the US. We sell only aluminum. The cost for square foot is $15-$25 depending on the style, color and layout. In this specific video the price is closer to the $25 range.

Also, our gates come in many different styles and design and can be without any gaps. Lastly, aluminum will last lifetime without any maintenance that regular steel will need over and over again.

@@AlumissionUSA not if steel is painted or powder coated they will last quite while, look at all the city benches and table at the parks and playgrounds that have been there for hundred of years. i'm gladed u mentioned steel is sucks compare to aluminum which i don't have any at my houses. but i just noticed yesterday that the steel gate at my house that's there when we purchased the property 25 years ago still there and was there way before i bought the house and it outlasted few people that i know. i think we did a touch up paint one time within that 25 years. i thumb up u for the infos though thanks. i do like aluminum sliding gate because of the weight so it won't fall and crack your skull especially if u have kids

We used concrete anchors/screws. Its the blue screws made for concrete. If your wall is not filled with concrete you do want to fill it up before attaching any fence on it as this will catch way more winds and needs more support.

You should install two sensors. The motor comes with one eye sensor and one edge sensor. Most cities will allow to replace the edge sensor with another eye sensor.

These connections are strong as any metal gate will be. The connectors themselves made out of 1-1/4"x1-1/4" steel tube with 1/8" wall thickness.
