I’m an o/o heading to start working for a company out of Houston to work the ports there. I was hoping to get the hang of it for a few months and then start my own authority to pull containers. Is it worth the money? Is there a reasonable gross and net I can expect with pulling containers under my own authority? Is this a good time? And is that something you can help me with?

I am a dispatcher, I don't have loads but I can confident in finding loads for the MC's I am contracted with.

For every NEW Brokerage you work with, they will ask you to make them a certificate holder on the COI. You will just file that COI in the folder you create for the loads that you complete with that brokerage.

You didn't include Fuel Surcharge as an accessorial fee? Why? Or did you forget. Or typically carriers don't charge FSC in intermodal? I am trying to understand.
