just received my today I have a 5th metatarsal shaft fracture hoping and praying this work for me

Had a bad break before a doctor prescribed it. worked pretty well for me. Ran out of gel once but all in all I healed and I still have it just in case!

We need a “kindergarten” version of this for patients who don’t have a degree in our “non union” fractures. I was sent this as a patient and it’s great but a bit over my head 😂🥰

Do you feel any vibration or pain when using the device?

The Audi L. Murphy V.A. Neurosurgery clinic ordered me a cervical spine bone growth stimulator because my surgeon identified me as a high risk patient for nonunion. The prosthetic department ordered this instead, The users Manuel actually says not to use on the spine. I notified Neurosurgery and prosthetic of the error. I also contacted EXOGEN to address my concern. My Doctor, two Physician assistants in neurosurgery, the prosthetic department and the representative for EXOGEN all told me to disregard the warnings and to use it anyway. when I asked the EXOGEN REP if he could explain why it says not to use it on the spine, he said he did not know, I asked him if he could guarantee my safety, he said NO! THEN HE SAID JUST USE IT ANYWAY IT IS SAFE.. IT HAS BEEN 5 GOING ON 6 MONTHS NOW, and the V.A. has not done anything to fix this issue. I AM KNOW BEING TOLD BY A physician's assistant that they don't think I need to use a bone growth stimulator , sounds like someone is lying or I have been missed diagnosed by my surgeon and or the physician's assistant . My health care team has failed me as a patient with complete indifference. this device may have damaged my spine. This is gorse negligence on the part of EXOGEN, the Neurosurgery department, prosthetic department and the entire V.A. Healthcare system . the EXOGEN BONE GROWTH HEALING SYSTEM IS DANGEROUS in my opinion.

Not saying this product doesn't work, but overall it's a scam. Patients are often not told that the device is programed to stop working after a set number of uses. Manufacturer tries to convey it's similar to medication and needs to be sent in for a refill, which is BS. This is basically a over prices and limited use tinge unit, but for bone treatments. The whole reason is to maximize their company profits.

I'm trying this device out on my fractured ankle. This ankle has been fused and has had multiple surgery on it. It was crushed in an auto accident 30 years ago. This is a last chance to get this ankle healed. I'm praying it works,

Where is the Exogen made, and who makes it? A video that follows the progress of someone using the Exogen would be very helpful. Are there other devices that complement the Exogen during usage?

I had a midfoot bone fusion with bone taken from my hip and packed around my foot, followed by two plates and 4 screws. I had this same surgery on the left side of my foot and it took quite awhile to heal. I had this surgery on the right side of my foot and am now on day 117 of the Exogen ultrasound system and I can definitely feel the difference in healing.

I use a Bioptron Light by Zepter, does same healing. Google to seek further info. Good luck with whatever healing device u use. m

25 days in a row and my leg feels great , I'm almost ready to put full weight on it and I'm sure this system had a lot to do with the healing
