I believe the original prizes were Pokeballs with a small Pokemon figure in it, but I could be wrong. I thought I heard that from somewhere online. I have only played one of these at a Japanese arcade, and their prizes were small Pikachu plush keychains.

I lost my pikachu one. My only card

I used to work at Nintendo. I drove several of these cars for promotional events in late 90's, early 2000's. As soon as you opened the hatch people would freak out and start reaching into the car to try and grab swag. It would get so chaotic that we would have to close the hatch really fast. The tail hit me in the head and broke off the car, twice. Used to dress up as Mario and Luigi too. It was a fun car to drive. I always wondered where they went. Glad you're enjoying yours!

I think I might actually have a picture of this thing! It was taken during the 2006 10th Anniversary Journey Across America Tour at the Wolfchase Galleria Mall in Memphis, Tennessee. It would have been June 24. The front license plate in the photo reads "PIKA3". I also have pictures of other Pokémon-themed vehicles and trailers that were also parked there! Glad to see it's in good hands, all these years later; I was only 9 at the time!

To me it’s a skinned version of the time trip by rhythm with the same DWS sound system with different melodies and it is on display mode. I actually have the time trip by rhythm in my collection. EDIT: and to the collectors out there I am not talking about the time trip version to I’m talking about the original!

I want one so badly. Granted, the novelty would wear off in a traffic jam on the motorway, but at conventions it'd get a lot of love.
