Is this a nest just for display in your yard or it is supposed to be a functioning one? How can you be sure that the bottle is going to be strong enough to hold a mama and babies just by "jamming" them into each other? I would think some type of eco-safe glue would be used to guarantee that they would. And, I would think it would be better to staple it to where the sharp closure ends of the staples are on the outside of the bottle instead of the inside. That would lessen the risk of any babies or even the mother bird accidently scraping up against it and causing even a tiny would that could possibly get infected. And, granted, that is really cute, but it is such a shame when people provide these types of shelters for birds when there are so many possibilites that it can harm them in the long run. Just my opinion.
