loving the nails! and playing :0)
Excellent!
where did you get your wagner tuba?
Same excerpt as bass trumpet did not know that very neat
There is a lot of practice and dedication on that instrument. Hours of practice but apparently your main reason for this clip is your fabulous nails!
Get rid of that buzzing noise and it sounds great
Beautiful
Full Power! Wonderful
That was actually amazing 😂
Ill make a remix if you dont mind
I listen to this whilst using my spear and magic helmet
Nailed it
Can you drop the sheet music
One of wagners most heart melting melodies
Nice i play trumpet and am learning the same song
Strauss horn concerto no 1 🔥🔥🔥🔥 good playing
❤
Yo I’m playing this right now, who old are you
Double buzz?
where did you get ur natural horn from? sounds gd
They should use alto horns instead of French horns.
Beautiful! I bought a trumpet with the intention of playing this.... starting to think I got the wrong instrument lol
Yep you did get the wrong instrument see what he’s playing is a French horn which is a different instrument with a conical bore
Beautiful sound man!
AYO PETER?

Every video in this church is in a different outfit 😂
Yeah this one was from a few weeks ago, I just forgot to upload it
I don't know if you have already but could you please play the Tchaikovsky 5 movement 2 horn solo?
O mama che rubasi
What's the name of the song?
Is this from the Sean o’loughlin arrangement? That’s what my band is playing right now lol
That sounds right, it's been a while since I played it so I can't be sure!
Tu joues trop bien, moi aussi je fais du cor d'harmonie.
Excellent sound.
Not as wacky as some of Dvorak’s other stuff
Nice.
I played horn for a living, but I have never seen that mini horn before.
interesting.
Cool man❤
Very very nice
Lovely performance!
I have to commend you on your tone and accuracy over the time I have watch your vids. Keep up the hard work because it is paying off in spades.
Thank you so much! That is really lovely of you to say 😊
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuquefeo😒😒😒
Elsa's procession to the cathedral?
Same opera, but this bit comes earlier. There are a few motifs that repeat throughout and this is one of them
That's what I thought I didn't know what the French horn melody was
Haha! My band director told me a story once of some horn player for the Chicago Symphony, forget his name, but the guy was ancient and actively losing it, was playing some horn duet or whatever in some symphony and he was doing so bad the conductor motioned for him to stop playing. The stereotype is real!
Alexander
Very nice! Question: What fingering did you use for the high bflat? looked like fside 3. is that more in tune for you? great work!
I used Bb side 3 here, I found that it was slightly more in tune than 1st valve (which was slightly flat if I am remembering correctly). That was on my Yamaha 567 but it doesn't work so well on my Alexander 103. It's something fun to experiment with as I've sometimes found that to be a precarious note
I’m a beginner French horn and I have trouble playing higher notes consistently what is some advice to play them better
Just relax, don't squeeze too hard, play a scale up to them and do a little bit every day
As a beginner that's very normal. It will take time, with consistent practice in particular being the most useful. If you try and hear the note in your head before you play it, that can help. Find a nice fingering for the notes so that you aren't worrying about tuning as well as the pitch. If you think of them as very difficult and high, you will tense up and cause problems; think of them as a small extension to your comfortable range and that should help. This isn't an exhausted list but it should be helpful, good luck!
I’m trying my best with this section right now… not nearly as smooth as your playing!
Good luck with it, I'm sure you will get there :)
what college do you go to? also not an easy excerpt, sounds awesome
Thank you very much! I'm at the Royal Academy of Music in London
Too slow buddy ;)
