Wow, you really put the critical it critic. 😂 No disrespect to your review or opinion but I disagree. I as an adult loved Transformers One and it's honestly in my top 3 movies of this year. It honestly left me feeling inspired afterwards, which not many films make me feel anymore. It does feel "kidish" at times but that's honestly how I felt about Mutant Mayhem too. I don't think they're very different at all in terms of maturity level or the audience they're made for. Personally, in some areas, I felt like Mutant Mayhem was more "kidish" than Transformers One, especially with how much it relied on its humor. I do think the animation style and visuals look more unique, and might be giving a darker tone than TF One, but in terms of story and themes I think TF One is much darker and more mature when you get down to the nitty-gritty of it. But idk, that's just me and my opinion. I think it's great and can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike, and definitely deserves to be seen on the big screen. I mean that third act alone is just so awesome to witness. But I will say, this is all coming from a pretty seasoned Transformers fan, so I may be a bit biased. 😅 But, as a fan, I loved this film and I believe it did the franchise I love some justice. 😁
No disrespect taken at all man. I love the enthusiasm! It’s my role to be a bit too critical, I’d say take my criticism with a grain of salt. It wasn’t my preference as far as writing but still quite enjoyed learning the lore of cybertron and the transformers. Also seeing the Megatron Optimus Prime friendship turn into what we know was genuinely very cool as well. Glad you liked it man. And for real, thanks for your thoughts on the movie.
