This was devastating to my friends. Mom was just going to bed and her sons were out on dates when this happened. The lightning struck the outside wall of the house at the laundry room door directly underneath my friend's mother's bed. The house was immediately on fire and I have no idea how she made it out alone! I'm just so thankful that they're all alive and safe, the thought of knowing that they lost everything in that house is just devastating! Their Spirits are up because I know how different the outcome could have been and know that things can be replaced. Please give to any Drive and participate in any funding that they have planned for this family it will take the entire Community to help them heal and rebuild.

It's disgusting how politicians use the tragic deaths of people, especially in inner cities. To push their agenda and won't hesitate to infringe on Americans God given rights. Not privlages, rights. Then even more sad is that uneducated or uninformed people fall for the propaganda talking points to convince them that it's acceptable and constitutional to take those rights from them. Banning law abiding citizens from owning firearms doesn't solve the problem, criminals will continue to aquire them illegally. All it does is make people "feel" like something is being done, while empowering criminal confidence to commit more crimes on unarmed people. Then politicians will use the uptick in crime as further justification to ban more rights, and the cycle continues. Wake up.
