I can’t speak for anyone else doing similar stuff, but I weirdly like just really getting into it, the nitty gritty of placing each block by hand. Just a true labour of love and enjoyment :)

Thanks, yeah it can be quite tough doing the terrain in this way but it is rewarding! I was also thinking about ice pools and snow at the peaks, so I’ll try to work those in! :)

Thanks! Hmmm, that’s a tough one, what I try to do is not think about too much, sometimes I’ll be outside and I’ll see a moss covered tree or even just a large rock in a field and get inspired. Or sometimes I’ll be playing a game like from the Assassins Creed franchise or Age of Mythology and I’ll see a cool building and think I’d really like to give that a go, named those two games as they have been very inspiring recently. Other times I will have an idea and then I’ll go onto the internet and do a little image search, looking at concept art from games or historical drawings of buildings and time periods. The last thing I do is just run around in a survival world (or fly around in a creative one) and just see what happens. Does a small outcropping of land in an otherwise flat field make me think ‘hmmm, what if there was a keep here?’ Or maybe a large hole in the ground could be the start of a quarry? I’d say the main thing to do is to have fun with what you’re building and just find something you like building. I hope that was helpful :)

Very good question, it kinda depends on the day. Sometimes I’ll just listen to some music (whichever genre I fancy that day), chucking on a streaming service or even just listening to the sounds of Minecraft itself Edit: I finished what I was writing because I was a little sleepy and hit send mid typing 🤦🏻‍♂️
