Im so happy for you!! :D I hope that your orthodontist and surgin think of something and it all works out<3 I don’t know if you remember me but I found you 5 months ago x) Also for me I’m a little too young to get bridges and screws but I found a professor about 2 hours ago from where I live and he agreed to make me a sort of prosthetics :D My Oligodontia affected my front teeth and bone too so it’s really tricky to do anything because there’s just so much free space ! About 3cm I think(?) i forgot x( oops The professor is going to build me a prosthetic he only built once before so I’m his second patient :,) woo ( I want to tell you about it but I’m not a native English speaker so I’m so sorry that it’s going to be really crooked and full of grammar mistakes :,D ) He is going to file a sort of stair like thing at the back of my canines and put a hook thing there that will be the place where I can mount my prosthetics on :)) Most of the teeth im missing are the front ones so that’s really cool and I can’t wait ! They’re currently in the process of building it(i think) and I’ll somewhen get implants there but not now because of age, not enough bone and he said that it would be better to wait until medicine evolves so it can be better quality too so yea :)) I was really bummed out when I firstly heard that because i thought I would look like a grandma but now a few months later the idea sounds great !! I cant wait x) I will get bridges for the other teeth(I think and hope! Last I heard from him was months ago and work is piled up on me i forgot much x( luckily my parents have papers and everything so ye) Anyways I want you to know that you’re wonderful person and I hope you have a good day!!

i just found this channel out because i was looking for comfort and i just want to say that im literally crying right now. like straight up sobbing. i have oligodontia myself and im missing about 12 or maybe more teeth, mostly are in the front upper jaw and until now i never saw anyone or met anyone ever with oligodontia and that made me feel so alone but now i can see that im not. i absolutely love your positivity and how actually chill with everything you are, youre like an inspiration to me right now. living with this is so hard for me because of how people just treat me in general, they al believe i “eat too many sweets and i dont brush my teeth” and thats not true! i rarely ever eat sweets and i do brush my teeth twice and sometimes three times a day! its so frustrating because oligodontia is so rare nobody knows it :( this condition really needs some awareness because of how painful it is to live with it and the tole it took on my mental health from a young age. im happy that i found you, i dont feel so alone anymore, even if youre the first and probably only person like me i will probably see in a while. but thank you, really<33

Another oligodontia patient here with 13 teeth missing. Just wanted to wish you great results and an easy healing process. I've gone through orthodontics, implants, bone grafts, gum grafts and crown treatments to be done soon. It effects your social life, psychology, and self esteem. Plus you have to deal with constantly being unable to eat certain things and basically having to live at the dentist. Tooth pain is really hard to deal with in my opinion, and most people simply cannot understand it because they've had teeth all along, so it's hard to picture the pain or the discomfort when eating. Just know that you're not alone and it'll all end soon. 🌸

Just for clarity, were the screws to help the bone grafts and blocks "fuse" to your jaw? Will the screws be pushed out as you heal? What signs are they looking for before starting the next leg of the journey? Also, what is this condition called? I think the name should be in every one of your video titles or at least in the video descriptions so maybe I'll finally remember what it's called! 😉💘
