I honestly feel bad for Homelander. All he ever wanted was to have a family, and love. Everyone in Vaught treated him like a lab rat, and even his own father talked shit to him. Homelander does some fucked up shit, but honestly… people were too dumb to see and promote the good in him. They’re as much as at fault for him becoming “evil”.

This season was so fking idioootttt

Its pretty impressive how Soldier boy who just came out of 40 yrs of sleep a few days ago and just blew up a whole building, effectively draining his powers for the short time being, was able to match up with Homelander and even do some damage. Had Soldier boy not been rusty from his hibernation and drained from the huge Energy blast, he would have absolutely annihilated Homelander just from his Raw strength, Tank durability and Hand to hand combat skills.

Probably the best part of this scene is when HL is talking to Solider Boy before the fight and SB is just looking at him like “enough already let’s get this show on the road” AFTER seeing HL laser Butchie like that… Jensen played that character superbly well.
