    Payal, these tests are crap as far as Indian samples are concerned as their samples are only focused on Europe and America. Junk them , throw them in dustbin..... Indian gene bank is being compiled and catalogued but as far as information is concerned THEY are not available to these pesky companies in WEST

    the Irish or scottish part of you most likely comes from the colonial rule of the British Empire in India. Plus even before that many foreign merchants and traders from Europe and other parts used to visit India as it was the richest land.

      That Irish and Scottish is actually indo aryan dna from vedic period not related to britishers. Indians did not mixed with britishers due to rigid caste system in india.

    • @kk-ey2pn
      @kk-ey2pn 28 днів тому

      @@dragonz1243 no they are not brother!! Scottish and Irish people are of Celtic heritage originally inhabiting Europe and NOT indo aryan dna! Plus British were not the only europeans to have ever set food in India! and even some of them could have scottish dna! IF the theory of Indo-Aryan is to be believed, it is from migration of Proto-Indo-european speaking groups into SOuth Asia. Also, You'd be surprised to know the number of half Indian children being born considering the soldiers staying for long periods of time in India. Of course not all stayed here! The ones remained behind adapted to Indian culture and traditions with a local identity

    • @dragonz1243
      @dragonz1243 28 днів тому

      @kk-ey2pn thats not how it happened britishers who mixed with indians were called Anglo indian many of them left India with britishers other than that it was nearly impossible to mix with Indians due to caste system. Indians don't mix even in same gotra(clan) forget about different ethinicity altogether. Indus valley civilization was mix of ancestral south indian(ASI-first indians)+ zagros(east iranian) then later in vedic period they mixed with steppe(indo Europeans) some specific indian communities carry upto 40-45% of steppe components(for ex- jats and rors of haryana) funfact jats and rors from haryana are genetically more closer to dagestani( Russians) than to a marathi from Maharashtra. This excess steppe component in some of indians is shown as british/scottish in these dna tests going by your logic mixing with britishers was more common in south and bengal then why north Indians like punjabis and haryanvis score more of Scottish British dna while they were so strict in terms of mixing with other ethnicities

    • @kk-ey2pn
      @kk-ey2pn 27 днів тому

      @@dragonz1243 lol relax bro! I said the same thing that many of the children left India while others stayed. Yes, we know them as anglo Indians. So I don't know what mixing part you keep stressing about! if you talking about gotra and everything, yes marriages were not common though rare! As for the British and scottish DNA, there isn't one particular possibility. For a long time The Aryan Invasion theory existed before changing to Aryan Migration theory and now they say it originated from Iran!! Many of those researchers did not want to accept that India had its own people and civilization and rather they say people from outside came and settled here. The possibility of what is now considered european dna also has Indian or Asian part is now being explored in research ever since the discovery of the Yamnaya tribe, They had Indian and Asian roots who invaded european settlements. And if we keep all that aside, still ancient India in its hey day had many people visit from outside for business and culture. Hopefully we return to that glory and the world sees itself as one (Vasudev Kutumbukam)

      Hi Shanice, I moved to NY about 10 years ago and went to college here and joined a bunch of speaking clubs so I think just listening to others around me in those clubs and being socially involved helped! (I also think I watched the show "friends" a lot before moving so had a slight knack for the accent then as well).

      conquest yes but not because of the empires you're stating. oe major mix happened, but thats before the invasions you're talking about. the one you stated like muslim rule and the british invasions caused almost no genetic impact on indians expect for some muslims and anglo indians. the reason she had those results are because of aryan invaders. our languages are indo aryan. they came around 3500 years ago and they mostly made impact on the northern subcontinent. even moreso in the northwest region like punjab, haryana, kashmir, rajasthan, etc. The combo of central asian/west asian/euro is from the steppe dna. its from central asia but they were themselves mixed of all those components. most punjabi jats get similar results like her. many upper caste brahmins too since aryan mix is highest among the northwest groups and upper castes in the subcontinent.

      @@yoloswag1357 I hate it to break it to you but the so called Aryan Invasion theory has gotten debunked to Aryan Migration and now they say people actually came from Iran😁Yes other invasions could be the reason but also many people used to visit India on business during its ancient glory. People have found Roman and greek DNA strands too in their 23 and me report!!

    • @yoloswag1357

      @@kk-ey2pn i hate to break it to you but aryan invasion is not debuked at all. Its just twisted to suit indian nationalist approach thats all. there is literally genetic proof and half of north indians have R1a paternal dna haplogroup which is from aryans in central asia. India isnt the only place they went. they went to iran, europe, and within other parts of central asia. there is literally no greek dna even in afghans/pakistanis, let alone indians. 23andme shows recent ancestry which is almost always south asian. Its the other sites that the girl in the video used for example. Its myheritage dna which shows more ancient mixture. as i mentioned, most northwest indians, pakistanis, pahadis, upper caste north indians in general get some aryan showing up in forms of euro/west asian admix.

    • @kk-ey2pn
      @kk-ey2pn 27 днів тому

      @@yoloswag1357 and I hate to break it to you but like I said they already moved from Aryan Invasion to Aryan Migration theory! also tell me who are those Indian nationalists btw? better yet, tell me who are the so called Aryans? Given their greatness and impact on historical, cultural lore till the 20th century, there is no evidence of their civilization or symbols! The world has evidence of Egyptian civilization, Mayan civilization and the Indus valley civilization even though we don't know what happened to the Indus and Mohenjodaro! Though we know that their symbols have advanced yogasana postures in them! the same researchers and historians will tell you that Aryan originates from the Proto-Indo-Iranian word "arya," which means "noble" or "distinguished" and is actually derived from Sanskrit. We have been using it since Ramayan and Mahabharat era! As for the R1a haplogroup, which is found throughout Eurasia, it could have originated in India and underwent diversification in the vicinity of Iran and Eastern Turkey around 5800 years ago. Ancient Indians carrying R1a lineages could have migrated westward from India during the Copper, Bronze, and Iron ages, partially replacing previous Y-chromosome strata in those regions. I am saying that because our ancient texts and scriptures were detailed and cannot be made by some traveling gypsies but an already established civilization. Remnants of Indian culture can be found worldwide today in some or the other form. Please understand that scholarship and even scientific research is always debatable with new theory and evidence showing up. And you need not believe blindly just because it was said by a foreign institute or website.
