Thanks for the comment! We are trying to make something a bit different in many ways, which would hopefully lead to something bigger as a whole, meaning there is a solid, moderate priced product to offer any customer who is in a need for getting a dogbox :)

i think it's less about the noise than it is about smoothness. Synchromesh has more gradual shifts, but dogbox is very instantaneous and gear changes are rougher. not really suitable for consumer markets

@@reiniigna6139 My speculation is they run out of creativeness, considering they can still equip the transmission with the clutch, and that helps make shifting as smooth as the conventional. As there're some bike models made for achieving the experience of touring and comfort and their transmission type is still of dogbox. 👌

Don’t think a dog box would be reliable for daily economy use. Unless your strictly racing the vehicle, it isn’t worth the transmission and engine damage you’d accumulate over time.

Hello John! Different type of racing does affect. But also oils do have differences. Some oils do generate more foam and the foam is the reason why box breaths oil out. Omega branded oil has been seen to work very well from this perspective, but certainly there should be more similar oils. Yes you can add quite big holes to bell housing and we have not seen it to cause any problems. Many customers have had up 60-100mm holes in it.

yes they are but it's just a different way to select gears. it doesn't change the way the gears move. and yeah they still have clutch. usualy on a bike you only use the clutch to start, come to a complete stop or modulate power.

@@DersNoNem sorry it was so long i don’t remenber what was the focus of my question. if i had to guess i think i was referring to constant mesh gearbox which use dog gears as opposed to the dog rings in the video. so i think i was wondering if dog rings work the same as dog gears. which now i know they do :). well the principle remain the same anyway
