Halloween Haul for Ghoul's Night-Ghoulish Garden 2021 🌿🖤
Hey Ghouls! I'm getting excited about planning my annual Ghoul's Night. The theme this year is Ghoulish Garden and I can't believe I haven't done this yet! It's been a lot of fun to shop for, because I love this kind of stuff for year round decor as well. I hope you guys are finding everything you are looking for this season. I know The Infamous Headless Horseman has been on the top of my list for about 10 years now. Wish I would have picked it up when I saw it all those years ago. BUT moving on...I managed to pick up a lot of awesome items for the theme this year already. I'm still looking but am not really in need of anything at the moment. I'm also going to Salem this year in Sept...so I imagine I'll be buying some items from there while we visit. I'm so excited, this is going to be the best spooky season ever!

I give you guys a glimpse of what else is already in the garden and we make a nice seating area to enjoy our hard work from. I hope you enjoyed watching this...
Keep Rabbits Off Plants For a Dollar!

I was having issues with the critters eating things in the yard. It's been shockingly warm so the plants aren't frozen and the bunnies have been munching away! To put an end to the munching, I purchased a few of these waste baskets, turned them upside down and weighted them with some heavy rocks. I hope you all enjoyed seeing this inexpensive approach to creating a barrier without spending a lo...

Hey all! Welcome back to my channel: GreenSceneSouthcoast It means so much that you're here. Growing up in MA I always used to come to Lasalette Shrine. They do this every year and it always gets a good crowd. It is free of charge but they do accept donations. There is a cafeteria inside where you can warm up and get a bite to eat, or a hot cup of hot chocolate. They have fires going also and a...

Hey everyone! We've been really busy lately. We've been trying to empty out our storage unit. We've been finding all sorts of cool things but these Halloween decorations are AMAZING! Most of these decorations are from the 1960's and they just don't make stuff like this anymore! There's also a bit of a yard update with some new blooms at the end of Summer. Some of our Rose of Sharons blooming fo...

Beautiful 👍🏻
Hello I’m a couple of years late but could you provide an update on how the plant is doing? Thanks in Advance
your garden is lovely!
That is very cool. How??? I have 4 and one of them is dropping leaves left and right. Not over watering so I don’t knew what’s happening. When I picture later down the road this is how I hope they look but man they are so hard for me to care for and all I hear is how easy they are lol
What a cool idea! Love it!
😍😍😍
Ooou I wonder how big everything is now, how much it’s all grown 🌱😍
Nix I love this 🪻🌱 and you!! 🐸 all your nature and critters and even Winny 🐶 love it all! And how cute and special that this video was your engagement announcement 💍😍
😍😍😍
I got some curly willow and put it in water now I see roots. Can here to find out if it could grow in the tropics
That’s a beautiful plant. I love jades. I have a corner lot and I planted 10 jade cuttings throughout my yard 8 years ago and they are all about 4 to 4 1/2 feet tall and have developed very thick trunks. They are all planted into the ground and most get partial sunlight so their colors change accordingly. The few that don’t get too much sunlight stay evergreen like yours. They are pruned regularly so they are compact.
جميلة جدا شكرا
Is August to late to plant my corkscrew tree cuttings
They eat my veggies too. Maybe could spray on leaves of Brussels sprouts plants but probably would ruin the taste of greens. Same for the Brussels sprouts themselves. They eat it while still a young plant
I'd rather shoot the rabbits.
Hello That is a beautiful plant😍. Can I propagate in the water or not? Thanks
What kind of soil ?
Hey there, we just used potting soil until we planted it with compost outside in the ground.
Can you substitute the paprika with curry powder?
I'm sure you could, the idea is to deter them from eating the plant. I've actually used just dollar tree hot sauce and water and that also works. To be honest though, chicken wire has mostly replaced this method at my house.
A beast what a beauty!!!!
Wow! What a beautiful jade plant!
Hope this work for me. Cause my rabbit cleaned my Lillys out. hopefully my new flowers make it.
You could always put chicken wite around the plants too! We used that for our tulips this year and it worked out even better!
Amazing jade plant 😍🤩
Handsome guys ❤❤
Beautiful tree 🌳 ❤❤❤
That's a big Jade tree! 😍 Where are you guys located? Do you guys leave your Jade outside year round?
Hey! No, too cold here in New England for that!
@@greenscenesouthcoast4345 hahaha! So you just put them outdoors every summer? No wonder they're so big! 😍
Thanks!! I rooted one and didn't know what it was... did some searches and found your video. Thanks!!
What do you have to do for the winter for one in a pot? Do you water it during winter or does it go dormant?
Hey Amber! If it's indoors in a pot then yes you will still need to provide it with water.
@@greenscenesouthcoast4345 what if it's in an un heated garage?
@@as71318 It'll need light and water.
Thank you!
Excellent upload!! I love Jade plants!!! I have several different types of Jade, and the one you just potted up is the best looking one I've seen so far!! No kidding. I prefer more house plant videos but I'm gonna subscribe because of this one. Very nice 👍!!
Thank you so much.
Such a lovely little tree 😍 Glad to hear you're giving away cuttings and sharing the love instead of just composting them.
Thank you for the lovely comment!
I know this is your plant, but , I really wish you would take the branch that is pointed down, off and then root it as well. That way it looks more like a tree. However if you like it that way, like I said, it's your plant
It has been removed since posting this video a year ago.
@@greenscenesouthcoast4345 I would love to see an update video to see the progress of that big beautiful tree
What a fantastic jade plant!! How wonderful to have such a beautiful plant! 😀
Thank you! She's doing very well!
The head planters are great!
Love the pot you picked for it
Is this good for vegetables as well?
Hey Dusty. I would imagine, but I would recommend washing before eating. Our garden is mostly critter proof, after much work to make it that way, so I don't use it on mine, but it wouldn't hurt to try! You could also use chicken wire around your vegetables or baskets (upside down, and stake it) Hopefully this helps! Thanks for your comment!
@@greenscenesouthcoast4345 Ok thank you so much for getting back to me … and for the advice… have a great day ! 😊
Can you do a video on how you get them that large?
Mama jade is 26 years old and her babies are 2-3 years old. These are mature plants, that's why they're bigger. Things that can help your jade grow are a little fertilizer here and there (houseplant fertilizer would work) and a bigger pot! Hopefully that helps you out!
The very same thing happened to my mother. She potted in a large pot, and eventually had someone plant in the ground for her (full sun til the afternoon) and now - seven years later - it is taller than her house! thanks for the video -
How wonderful! I need to do a follow up on this video. It's huge now! 🌿 Thank you for your comment! ❤
@@greenscenesouthcoast4345 if you are doing an updated one - i can’t recall what sort of soil it will require. one that drains easily? or simply straight potting soil? your video was very helpful, and i was grateful to find it! xo
@@ninabagley5861 It's been planted in the ground now for quite awhile, and is quite large. By update I meant.. like an after shot/video of it after a few years! 👍🏼 They grow so fast!
Cool plant!!
Thank you so much! 🌿❤
I love your rock garden I also have one like yours and I don't know the name of the plants
Blue Tears Sedum for the one I didn't know at the time. I love that you have one too. I'll have to work on some updates. It's expanded since we originally planted it.
Awesome shirt!
Wow! Had no idea the Dichondra bloom!
Cute little blooms! Thanks for your comment!
You should check out targets ghoulish garden line, if you haven’t already:)
I love it! Thanks for suggesting it though. Already have my eyes on some new pieces. Think it's time for another spooky video soon!
Thumbs up 👍
thank you
They ate all my tulips what a bummed
I'm so sorry! I have definitely been there! Don't give up! You got this!
Love the care you both take planting all the different plants, rockery looks lovely ! Thanks for video - very helpful as we are planning to build a small rockery :-)
i know im randomly asking but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost the account password. I would love any help you can offer me.
@Jacob Jamari Instablaster =)
@Preston Amir I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and im trying it out now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Preston Amir it worked and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D Thanks so much you saved my account!
@Jacob Jamari Glad I could help =)
I bought a bouquet, (three bouquets ago) and it had what I just learned is a curly willow branch. (Just one of them as an accent in that bouquet) After all those flowers, it was looking really good still so I put it in 2 more bouquets. I realized that the curly willow produced roots and leaves which I wasn’t expecting and I didn’t even know what it was.
Such a fast grower too! Ours is huge already! Happy gardening to you!
How are they now? We bought our home with a large curly willow out back. We love it and are planning crafts with the extra branches that fell off in our recent strong spring storms that blew through.
does the stained glass impact plant growth?
It probably would, but they do not grow in that greenhouse.
I've never been to an orchid show, even though I've been trying my hand at growing orchids for about 10 years. Thank you so much for the video and I enjoyed your music as well!
