It wasn't too long after the Diane Sawyer interview that things started going wrong. 'We were really on shaky ground', she says. She agreed to show up if she didn't have to go down the red carpet; they consented, then led her down it anyway. 'I was pissed. I just felt like I was being used at that point'. She was then told that he was going to sing to her and that he had a surprise for her. 'I remember my whole look was: 'Don't you come anywhere fucking near me -- we haven't spoken in a month'. And he got it. He didn't come over. I talked to him later and he said, 'I saw the look on your face, and I knew that if I walked up to you, I didn't know what you were going to do me'. I wish things could’ve been different for them. They genuinely loved each other, but had way too many outside influences. They both wanted kids, he loved her kids and they loved him. Their children would have been gorgeous. In my opinion it was all very sad cause you can see it how much love they had for each other, she was the happiest when she was with him and his alive and full of happiness. His eyes tell a story. I just love seeing them together. The pictures of all four of them are a true family.

It's heartbreaking how much Lisa loved Michael. Most of her songs are about MJ. Just a Dream, Weary, I Was Wrong, Over Me, Gone, Indifferent, Now What and The Road Between. She stood by his coffin after everyone had left the funeral and left flowers in a vase engraved with the message 'I will always love you. Eternally. L x'. She followed him around the world for 5 years after they divorced and even after that she was still sending him begging letters, and making friends with his family to try and get back with him. Rest in peace Lisa and Michael xx
