Is office is in Vancouver and we live a ferry ride away. Petitions have been a major means to communicating our wishes to government. It obviously doesn’t listen to Canadians who are non Liberal.

It sucks that these tarrifs are looming. However Canada has been outsourcing a majority of our essentials for years. If I go to the grocery store and had to replenish my pantry. A majority of the things needed are not coming from Canada. You need dried neans that a shelf stable, 80% of the shelf is non Canadian grown. You want to have canned meat, veggies, or fruit, 95% are not Canadian.

If we are to adopt some of these measures then we should also have the ability as voters to recall bad politicians. How long would Trudeau, Singh, Freeland, and a few others I can think of have lasted if we, the public, had the ability to recall them for their poor performance. We've been calling for an elected Senate for decades and if we had good Senators that were elected we wouldn't have a bunch of political cronies appointed as we do now.
