    Golf tee? Dude! I'm not a metal caster most days but I make tons of silicone molds for resin casting. Always just rolled a cone shaped hunk of whatever I was using and tried to stick it on with wire to make my spru. Golf tee is probably the most ingenious solution to a casting problem I've ever seen. Thank you so much. Absolutely love it. I was gonna leave positive comments about the rest of the video but damn, the tee trick just impressed the hell out of me. Brilliant!

    I’ve already have a Mold that’s meant for Lead Soldiers. Would Tin work instead of lead Metal?

    take that sound proof box and put it outside. drill a 2 1/2” hole and bring the hose thru and you won’t hear anything anymore.

    Do you have a link how to make a vulcanizer?

    • @vanska64
      @vanska64 6 років тому

      Unfortunately not. It does not matter what kind of vulcanization device is. The box can be anything whenever you just get the adjusted temperature.

    Great tutorial. What size Plexiglas XT did u use for this project?

    • @vanska64
      @vanska64 10 років тому

      If you mean the thickness of the Plexiglas, see 1.40 video. If you mean length and width, it is up to you.

    10000 click, almost. Thank you to all.I have the same shop vacuum, so, no overheating yet. In the last 8 months of the year I saw quite a bit, about 30 hours per month. I live in 3 flat and the neighbors have not yet complained.Obviously it is a matter of time.

    thank you for this fabulous tutorial. I have needed a light box for sometime now for my quilting. I will probably make mine a bit larger. I just purchased all the necessary lights and adapters all for 15.00 on ebay free shipping!! Gotta love Ebay. ;-)

    I do not know the model or brand, it is acrylic,but I think that it does not really matter what material you use it. I bought it from a local plastic store surplus basket .. and it was cheap (1 euro).

    @willstutely I do not like a vacuum cleaner at full power (suction power is sufficient in my work), and saw that about half an hour to an hour at a time, then I break 15min. Of course, cleaner heats up, but I have not seen yet overheating.
