This song is a fucking classic by now. Lyrics are too simple, IMO, but everything else is top notch. Too bad they got split up. I also feel like they didn't any attention at all, but deserved it greatly. Second album, while being a bit different, is an actual masterpiece.

So a little background on who recorded these.. these were recorded by the members of Dominican Day Parade(they have a full length on streaming services). DDP was members of New York Hardcore bands Fahrenheit 451, No Redeeming Social Value, District 9, Step 2 Far plus a slew of other bands. Pete Larussa played drums, Lenny Bednarz played guitar and bass and Armando Bordas was the main voice All 3 guys sang the back ups and Pete is the voice you here on "i Hate It". I hope this clears some things up.
