First of all i meant that pokemon only say their name you dont see pikachu going around asking people about there day do you? and you know what i meant when i say pokemon say their name. next of all maybe yoshi is like a level 5 and will listen to his trainer. ok so maybe he can't learn flamethrower and fly (witch he did) he still has other pokemon attacks talking about that maybe it will be added that they can learn a new move, i mean their stats change when mega evolving and there have been many other updates in pokemon changing the way it works such as pokemon hybrids and in fact mega evolution

At this current time, Pokemon can only learn 4 moves, and only learn new ones by TM/HM's, or leveling up meaning that during a battle, he can't learn new moves but they're stats do change for the duration of the time they're in mega form. Adding to the part where you said, "many other updates in Pokemon changing the way it works such as Pokemon hybrids", Pokemon don't have hybrids except for kyurem but no others, and that's more of a Pokemon fusion. Pokemon in mega form have a different appearance to add a new visible aspect to the games and to see a difference so you know if it had been mega-volved.

NickTheGamer you dont know what pokemon hybrid means do you? it means the pokemon has two types and i already explained i forgot to wright ONLY says it's name all you did is argue my point further thankyou also i said that their new move would also only last the duration of their mega evolution there are constant changes and updates maybe at some pointt that will be one

thesonicecho A Pokemon with two types is not what you would define a hybrid, that is when two things mate and make a new species, mating a ditto and a pickachu will not make a new species because pikachu is an evolved form of pichu, meaning it's the same species.(think of dogs breeding and making the same type of dog) And with the whole Pokemon saying they're own names, it's by your definition so my point if proven.(not going into that topic again) And at this current stage of the game, Pokemon can't temporarily learn moves and there might never be a chance when that will happen, so that argument is invalid.

well why not? i mean they put ALL the Nintendo characters together to make one big game right? why not add a twist and have Yoshi be a pokemon? By having all nintendo characters together it shows they are all from the same dimension or what ever
