Nice work.... get you a decent 6 channel amp. 40w RMS. MY buddy decided to go 6.5 and 6x9 in the sound bar. Big difference. Mine is a soft top. Doubt if I'll put my sub in it.

The knees are easy. Takes a couple hours maybe. Hardest part is you need a 7 mm wrench which I lost along ago and had to use a small adjustable wrench.

Hey man did you ever end up doing the knee speakers ? If so , was it worth it ? Considering them now but not sure if it’s worth the effort

The soundbar enclosure is tiny and has a port tuned to the stock speakers so thats probably why you are not getting alot of bass from your kickers. Have you tried stuffing the port so that the enclosure is sealed..., it might improve the bass response.

removing the negative power does not disconnect the power. There are 2 batteries. Both need to be disconnected.

Gotta disconnect that aux battery too. The truck will start and run with the main battery disconnected.

Just picked up a low km 2019 Jeep wrangler 4 door, first thing I noticed was the underwhelming speakers. Glad it's not too difficult to upgrade. Cheers.

So, something a lot of folks don’t realize is that the Jeep JL has 2 (two) batteries. In your video you only disconnected on and left power to the whole electrical system. Here is a video about the second battery: ua-cam.com/video/_zq47v-_lG4/v-deo.html

What is the adapter you use to connect to factory plug and straight to new speaker? Do they come with the speakers?

Did you ever checked the ohms on those speakers to be the same as factory in order not to cause any damage on the factory head unit outputs in the long run...?

installed 2 12s kicker comp rts with sub box, audio control epicenter and the lc2 signal processor but did not change the stupid speakers now i have lots of bass and no speaker sound😅 after watching this video i will imediately order this kicker speakers (hope to see big change in sound) thanks for showing the process.✌️👍

Any idea why Crutchfield is saying that these won't fit my new JLU. Both sizes are saying that. Mine is a 2021 but no different that the 2020. I even changed my vehicle to a 2020 on their site and they are still saying they don't fit. What is going on? Did yours say they wouldn't fit?

I just i stalled the KSC350 in a JLU. The Crossovers have to be used! They need spliced into the shipped adapter. Missed this step.

Did you finally end up adding an amp to those speakers? I’m looking to swap all of the speakers out but I don’t think I have room for a sub. I always put my tops in the back so I don’t wanna lose that space. Plus spending $800 for the JL audio speaker for the side is crazy. Kind of sucks between a rock and a hard place
