Since arriving in the West Kootenay in 2008, we have experienced a variety of adventures. Some of them are posted, and a lot more to come.
Sutherland Falls
Sutherland Falls is along Highway 23 between Revelstoke and the Shelter Bay Ferry terminal. The falls drop about 45 feet at the bottom of a canyon near the mouth of Blanket Creek, a glacier-fed stream that ends at Upper Arrow Lake, a man-made reservoir on the Columbia River. It's a short walk from the day use area of Blanket Creek Provincial Park.

Bear Creek Falls is in British Columbia's Glacier National Park The falls are found along Connaught Creek where it descends out of a valley flowing down from Rogers Pass to join the Beaver River valley. The falls consist of at least three steps, but because of how the falls twist down its gorge, less than half of the overall height of the falls can be seen. The visible portion of the falls drop...

What intake did you use and where did you get it?
Cant here any thing ????
I just played it, the sound is great!
While this is interesting from a before and after perspective, you failed to include much of anything that would be useful to others who might like to follow in your footsteps. I suspect that helps explain only two ‘like’ votes.
Very Nice. Thank you
How did you cover the hole you drilled? Mine has a dent too but I was just going to leave it, no cracks so it’s only cosmetic
I put a patch on it and soldered it.
The race track was abandoned when we took the video, don't really if they ever opened it. The last time we were there the whole area was cleaned up.
is the racetack abandoned?
☹️ 'promosm'
very good friend, this idea of tinning the piece I prefer to uncrush it thanks for the video
Will there be a theme to your videos? You need a light fixed to your camera. Which mine is this?
Yes I do need a light, and a few other tings. No theme.
@@TheGoldseekers Best of luck, and stay safe! Pm me the name of this mine please.
@@Bushguyrocks It is called the Gold Bug Mine, a short hike from Greenwood
@@TheGoldseekers Damn. I was going to have a leisurely evening. Now I'm going to be on the computer all night. Lot of heavy exploration going on in that area right now. Buddy just sent me an updated map of that camp last night. Have to go back and find his email too. Very interesting stuff going on in that area.
@@Bushguyrocks Yes we have been here almost 15 years. within a hours drive there is about, oh maybe 100 mines a dozen ghost towns, bunch of mining camps, a few train wrecks and a lot of other abandoned stuff. Just as we Though we have seen most of it, we find more.
what is the mpg?
On the Ford Ranger I got about 50 MPG ( I talking Imperial gallons)
Good video.
Thanks!
Nice job looks great .I have the same stove burns great .
Thank You for the comment.
Did they work? I have one with a spilt in the top half and I was wondering if soldering would fix it. Looks sharp! Also did you replace the felt? And if so will any felt work? Thanks
Soldering them will work. I just used some felt I had, I also used an O ring to seal the top to the bottom. I had one lit, but I have no Calcium Carbide left and I can't seem to find any.
@@TheGoldseekers you could try Lehman’s.
@@Sodbusterrod Thanks I will give that a try.
