Does anyone know why the DBX 160 vu amplifies certain transients and s,z,sh,p,k,t sounds in vocals!? is the attack too slow for hard rap vocals? (Dr.Dre used this comp to track vocals for Eminem, D12, G-Unit, Snoop, The Game, etc.) The track doesn't look more balanced after compression, but certain peaks stand out strongly. The track still looks pretty dynamic after compression.

Are you implying health problems exhibited by certain ethnicities are related to being in America. Is there no alcoholism among Latinos in their home countries? Are these populations well taken care of in their country of origin? It would seem they aren’t. I love your production aesthetic but you throw out some cultural Marxist bs sometimes. I would have thought some time in China might teach you something. It gets old is all. Tell me all about how Indians and Latinos have some special challenge in healthcare based on their race in America. You ever been to Appalachia? I doubt it. The wannabe socialists/communists in music is peak irony. I was no different as a younger person. People espousing these political ideologies seem tone deaf to the fact that they, as well as you, work in a completely nonessential decadent field driven by the forces of capitalism. All the gear is made for profit, all the music is made for profit, all the social media content is simply advanced marketing mixed with data harvesting. Anyway, I’ve watched plenty of videos you’ve done and appreciate them. However, when you make these little digs, they are aimed at white people wether you can admit that or not. When you imply Latino people or x people can’t get y in America, you aren’t blaming every group of people, you’re blaming whites bc your reasoning is based on the idea of racial inequalities. It’s like the cheeky commercials by stop Jewish hate with the blue square. They warn of anti-semitism and the rise of hate. They point out, according to arbitrarily collected statistics, that hate of blacks, Muslims, Latinos, lgbt people etc is up. Who is that implicitly blaming for all the hate? Whites, obviously. I’d be interested to know how much American history you’re familiar with. If I went to a another country, would I be able to denigrate that country as a racial/ethnic minority and expect top notch social services at the same time. I wonder if I went to China and complained about how whites were treated there on social media, how would that go for me? Every ethnic group has different susceptibility to different disease. Some groups are more prone to alcoholism, blacks have sickle cell and hypertension, Jews have high rates of Tay Sachs disease, etc. That is the result of genetics not racism. I certainly can agree that not all people get the same level of health care. That is true in virtually every country on earth. However, prevalence of health problems in a given group is genetic not racist. As a poor white I can’t walk into Johns Hopkins and flash my “white card” and then get magically better care than you. They send me to the health department just the same. My opinion is as worthless as everyone else’s but if you can sling that crap out there then why can’t I?
