Two BNSF Freights in LF
Spent an evening in Lake Forest along the MDN and this is what I saw in terms of fright action at least.
Two southbound BNSF’s. One oil/ethanol train and a manifest with a rear KCS Grey Ghost(4526) dpu.
I’ll be back in LF again for a full day on April 19th. Also saw three Metra’s and two Hiawatha’s.

Also METX SD70 502 and Amtrak 340 with NPCU 90221 appearing again. Two Grain freights and a manifest were the only kind of freights I caught. UP and BNSF power imcluded.

All Venture cars on 338 I guess there’s a new overhead track signal and track switch in Lake Forest now at least to the North.

@@djn2005 Sounds like your goal of riding every line is complete. I still have the Southwest Service and the North Central Service to do.
@@JohnAckerman93 SWS we(or at least you) won’t be able to do all the way to Manhattan cause we wouldn’t get back home until we’ll after midnight. Going out to 179th is possible though. NCS is easier and should be done first. It’s also just me cause you know who had every excuse in the book.

Hey! I went to Lemont the same day ago you. I wanna know if you remember me. I was one of the two kids you saw at the station. And then we say the AAPRCO Metra. Weird question just curious.
Unfortunately no. I remember seeing someone wearing a CSX hat I think but that’s all. That day didn’t go as I expected. I was hoping to catch some CN’s but got more BNSF’s instead. Maybe next time I get out there I’ll get closer to the BNSF track.

Yep I did and as you can see lots of BNSF Intermodal’s. We can go somewhere tomorrow afternoon if you’d like to.

I was at Union Station today with my family and when he board the train around 2:30 I saw that same Amtrak Train right next to our metra train.

I’ve also caught all the Metra Heritage units as of now.
I do know that. There's one more you have to see which is 104 the Chicago heritage unit. I think you already saw that too
